Except when you are shopping for baby clothes, women nowadays are being practical when it comes to clothes. Women of today are really resourceful and really trying their best to look for quality clothes and accessories at a very affordable price. To do this, they don’t change their wardrobes but always find ways to stick to the trend and fashion with their own personal styles through their timeless classics and timeless pieces.

Classic and trendy women clothes can be found easily in department stores but when it comes to children’s wear, it is totally a different story. You wouldn’t know the latest trend and fashion in children’s wear when you come to retail shops. Most of the retail children’s clothing is made of not that superior fabric unlike the designer clothes. Moreover, retail children’s clothing lack good design and craftsmanship from the designer. In short, it is hard to find a store that holds high end clothing for children.

Smocked baby clothes and smocked dresses are the styles I prefer for my children and as gifts for friend’s baby showers when I shop for them. My favorites are hand smocking done by Remember Nguyen, Vive La Fete, and Anavini. To mention, Viva Fete bloomers are great for any season – one had an adorable ladybug, another had a Christmas tree and a toy parade. These are very cute clothes for babies.

Mulberry Street also offers great clothes in bright colors. One of my favorites is their fine wale corduroy royal blue jumper that is perfectly accented with Kelly green polka dot ribbon at the hem and the straps. Another is their poodle sweater that is great in fuchsia with face of a poodle at the front and at the back is a back of the poodle. Any baby that will wear it will really look cute in it.

I don’t have problems finding clothes for my friend’s twins (boy and girl) as well because brother and sister outfits can be found easily online. You just have to search using the right term. In fact, I found an adorable green long sleeve smocked dresses adorned with apples by Le Cirque along with matching Longalls. Perfect!

Except for popular and high end brands such as Peaches ‘n Cream and Le Top, some children’s clothing shops offers a monogram of many items they supply. I bought smocked baby clothes for my friend and she loved the monogram. Indeed, trendy, high-end and high quality children’s clothes are really available you just have to know where to look.
