Title: Mobile gaming goodness
Description: OMG snakes!

My mobile was recently stolen, so when I went into telstra and randomally picked another one off the wall. It happened to be the Sony Ericsson K500i, which it turns out can play "3D games". They're actually not bad. It's got a demo of the first level of Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow on it. Which is a 2d platformer with 3D graphics and it's pretty awesome.
Apparenly I can get a controller to plug into my phone too. But I'm not that keen. Actually I don't really care.
But anyway, who gets into mobile games? What's the hot titles out there?

Yeah, mobile java Splinter Cell: PT is great, but i'd hardly say it has 3D graphics, just well animated 2D side scrolling goodness.
I've got a tonne of java games on my new mobile, but i've gotten quite bored with them. Still, they come in useful when i'm in an unexpected state of boredom out in the desert somewhere, or at my grandparent's house.

The mobile gaming market certainly has potential, however it's not really designed for true gamers, where handheld gaming can be found elsewhere on specific gaming products, it's great for the casual market that are crazy about mobile phones with dozens of features. I've never been one to play mobile games much, except for Snake on the old Nokias.
