Heyo,
I just got back from watching "Bad Santa", which stars Billy Bob Thornton, and some little midget dude that i've seen pop up here and there.
Anyway, I went into the cinema thinking it was going to be fairly ordinary (it was the best thing on at the time), and I left completely suprised at what was a genuinely funny flick.
This is dark humour at its best, and I thought Billy B pulled it off really well. I for one am sick of stupid comedies involving 4 kids in a frat house, so this was really refreshing, and a great laugh.
Not for kids (although the amount of kids with parents there was disturbing), as it is fairly mature (lots of swearing), and alot of the humour will be lost on them, but great for us oldies. :P
Anyone else seen it?

Yeah I've seen some ads for this on telly, its rated MA isn't it?
The advertisements seemed decieving to say the least...

Its because people are stupied and dont understand what the ratings mean, its like the time I saw this parent buy GTA for his 8 year old. Then video games get blamed for being to vilolent...
Anyway I think this is a dvd for me. like most moives lately.

Don't let the trailers confuse you into thinking this is another stupid christmas flick. It's really clever, and mature comedy that i'm sure you'll love. One of the most genuinely funny movies i've seen in a long time.
I recommend it.

I probably will watch it eventually, but I rarely go to the cinema, I'll only go to watch movies that I really[ want to watch.

I think this movie looks pretty good, I might see it at the movies but most likey just wait for the DVD. ;)

I realise this is an old thread, but someone my dad knows gave us Bad Santa on DVD (it's not pirated, it's from the USA). One of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Up at the beach house my friend and I watched it every night for three nights. Awesomely funny.

It's like my 9 and 8 year old cousins- thier dad and grandpa got them GTA III recently and their grandpa let them hire Vice City. Sometimes people are not dumb, they just don't read. :P
