Once I've built my PC I'm upgrading to broadband and will be on Xbox live then, I plan to try and get the gamertag tribaldemon. The games I should have are top spin, mech assault and PGR2. Of course, pending new additions to the live catalogue :)

Currently I cannot connect to xbox live. It was working but telstra cable being the bitch it is decided it wouldn't let me connect through ICS anymore. I'm looking for a router. I'll make sure I'm set for Halo 2 at least 2 weeks in advance.

What type of router are you planning on buying?

Netgear rp614. Some of the people on the aussiexbox forums use it with telstra cable. It's wired. About $100.

I'll let everyone know how it goes. It's not on the xbox.com recommended list nor on the list of non-xbox live compatible routers.

i've just upgraded my iinet account from 256kb+ to 512kb lite
whilst there's no extra fees (except a downgrade charge of $19) it means that i'll have a 12gig monthly limit. should be fine and if i go over i just get put onto a slower connection until i stop downloading so much

so, i'll be buying the Halo 2 Xbox Live starter kit soon :D have to think up of an appropriate username. at this stage i'm thinking of using Surashi as it's my devart name. but i wouldn't mind having one that sounds less japanese so ppl won't mistake me for a jap user. i bet backslash is already taken

Hmm...it depends but I'd say 10-15mb an hour, so 20-30 mb in 2 hours. :P

Apparently, it uses about a gig a month for about 15 hours a week.
