When it comes to logos, I believe simplicity is key. You want to design something that looks really awesome, yet can be easily copied and drawn by kids the world over - the Nike swoosh for example.

That's a rather complex logo they have there.

Ugh! What an ugly logo! What a shame, the Sega we knew and loved looks like they have truely "left the building". :(

Remember the "KISS" rule. Keep It Simple Stupid, which is something the designer of this logo forgot.

I was shock when I heard that the old Sega logo was going, all that history and reputation will just dispear. Maybe they will allow sega to keep it and use it still. who knows. But considering Sammy now owns 90% of sega I doubt it.

I agree with Spag, the logo doesn't look too bad and it symbolises the coming together of the two comapnies nicely (i have this view coz I'm a stupid Visual Communications and Design student). Honestly who cares, seriously.

Nintendo should buy sega off sammy.
They could be renamed Nintenga.
The logo would be the normal sega logo, but would say nintenga instead, and there would be the red circle around it. :D
