Title: Buyer/Seller Feedback Thread
Description: Those you can trust, and those you can't
Spag - May 25, 2004 11:31 AM (GMT)
I think we should have a thread informing people of any successful or unsuccessful swaps/purchases. This way, we have an idea of who can be trusted and who cannot be (I would hope no one would sink to such a level)
Perhaps pinning this topic is a good idea
GUIDELINES FOR POSTING IN THE BUYER/SELLER FEEDBACK THREAD- Post only if you wish to leave feedback regarding a sale/purchase/trade you've made within these forums.
- Include in your feedback the item you've bought/sold/traded.
- Spam posts will be deleted without hesitation -- simple as that.
- Refrain from making "Thanks for the kind comments <insert username>" type posts. PM the person if you wish to do so, but your thanks and such are pretty much implied.
- Since it's only fair that you are given the opportunity to publically make your defense, you may reply to any negative feedback that you might have received. After that however, use the PM feature if the issue needs further pursuing.

Well I'll start the ball rolling.
Item: DVD
Seller: craptest
Buyer: Gilder
I had a very successful trade with Gilder (buyer). Payment was prompt and correspondence pleasant and hassle free. Recommended.

Just wanted to note that Crappy is a great seller. He made sure that the DVD came to me both quickly and safely. I also have enough bubble wrap to keep me occupied for weeks! :P
Once again, thanks for everything craptest. |

PINNED! -- I was going to create the same thread a few days ago, but I've been pretty sick lately and couldn't get around to it. This thread should do just fine though, and I'll update Spag's initial post in the coming day with guidelines on what you can post in this thread and whatnot.

Comment: Yes indeedy, he paid promptly, and goshdarnit if he didn't pay an extra couple of bucks to cover express post, even though I didn't ask him to. What a legend!

Got my games from TrinityJayOne, they were excellently packed and accurate to description :) Would highly recommend dealing with him. |

As I've noted in the guidelines, please from now on, include the item you've bought/sold/traded. This just let's us know whether the transaction was really made [through these forums] or whether people are simply giving brownie points/bad reps to their mates/someone they dislike. Thanks.

A few weeks ago I had FusionCloud buy a GameCube on my behalf, as they were suprisingly cheap in his state. I sent him the money and the next day he sent me photos online to prove the purchase had been made, then sent it to me via registered post. The package arrived hassle-free and very well sealed with all the accessories he promised intact. The reciept was also included.
I 100% endorse trading with FusionCloud. :D

Name of buyer: TrinityJayOne
Item: Super Monkey Ball 2
Comment: He paid me when he said he would. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, and some time ago he read my boring novel and actually gave me decent feedback! Not relevant, I know, but dammit, it was such a nice thing he did.

Name of buyer: ~DC
Item: Zelda: Wind Waker
Comment: He came, he saw, he bought, he paid. Huzzah!
TrinityJayOne - June 8, 2004 02:44 AM (GMT)
Seller- Buffoon
Item- Super Monkey Ball 2
Comments- He came, he saw, he sold, he mailed. Huzzah! The package arrived today (by express post no less), just as he said it would. The game was surrounded by copious ammounts of bubble wrap, just how I like it! *adds to collection* The game was intact and accurate in description to the last detail. My only quibble is that he didn't put "the Magnificent" on the end of my name like I asked, but I'm sure he just forgot. :P

Details: Arranged a trade between he and myself via MSN. It consisted of me giving him the two Golden Sun games while he gave me Pokemon Ruby and $30. During the trade I also returned the games he lent me. As already stated by Spag, Buffoon is definately trustworthy. :)

Recommendation for Hello.
Greatest deal ive done to date. Great communication, Superfast postage and a pleasure doing business with!
Hello - February 9, 2005 05:06 AM (GMT)
Yep, same for Huss. He said he'd get the money in my account on the Monday, and he did, without hassle. Easy to communicate with, too, and at all times I knew what was happening. Good stuff.
Edit - The trade was for Mario Tennis, for the Cube.
Hello - February 11, 2005 02:45 AM (GMT)
My second sale of the week went off without a screw up. I just sold Moggo Paper Mario for $50. It was a person to person sale, not a postage sale, but he seemed like a genuinely decent bloke, not a dodgy bitch, so I'd trust him with a postage sale, too. Communication prior to the meet-up was easy and hassle free - especially seeing as though it was a meet up over the internet. I made a $5 profit on the trade, too :P Score! Would trade with him again, blah, blah etc. Trustworthy. The only problem was that he wore a hat, so even though I've sent his photo I couldn't pick him out of the crowd :P Still, he came up to me, so it don't really matter.
