Howdy, fellas.

I'm in a bit of a pickle. Well, I was. There were these guys in high school last year who played a very horrible prank on me (let's just say that my emotional condition at the time made me more susceptible to the prank). It basically involved them fabricating a girl to like me. Yeah, it wasn't very nice. They even had things like photos and a voice to authenticate "her" existence. That was a year ago and I only found out now. They told me now and they did a helluva job of paying me out in MSN (I kept the conversation window open to record everything they said). Needless to say, I'm pretty pissed off. More so because I thought one of them (Fourat Janabi) was actually a friend of mine. The kiss of Judas hurts most.

Now here's where you guys come in. I'm actually almost over this, but as a small act of revenge, I want to be able to spam the hell out of these fucks. But not just with my email and not just with mindless spam. You see, I think it'd be a great way of pissing these people off if I could just post their emails here and each one of you deliver ONE message to each of these malicious pricks.

Here's the good part. The part which I like. The part which makes this so deliciously simple yet so satisfyingly vengeful. When you type up your message, I ask that you do only one thing: make it sound like the world knows what these dickheads did. Make it sound like these fucks have been exposed as fucks around the world. Make it sound like I actually delivered that MSN recording to everyone I could and those people forwarded it to everyone they could, ad infinitum. You know, make it sound like I totally used the internet to my advantage and that everyone knows what dickheads Shaun Acton, Fourat Janabi, Michael Lin and Drew Tolkien (apparently, he's a descendant of JRR... ah, the things children say) are.

A word of warning though. Be careful. Don't let the prank be reversed by making your post appear transparent. These fellas can't know that only you guys know. They have to know that everyone knows. I want them to know that you know that everyone knows.

If you would like a copy of the conversation, just ask and ye shall receive. Actually, if it's possible, I'd love it if one of you hosted the conversation on a server for all to see. But that might be asking too much.

Now, remember the one golden rule: it has to sound like you heard it from some place and that a whole bunch of other people heard it. It has to sound like the message spread through email. If you'd like to take it even further, GO AND ACTUALLY SPREAD THE WORD, USING THE FIRST PARAGRAPH OF THIS POST AS QUOTE AS WELL AS THE EMAILS PROVIDED IF THOSE YOU SPREAD THIS TO WISH TO HAVE THEIR SAY. Let the world know. Of course, this asks for more effort than I think you'd be willing to give, so I'll understand completely if you don't want to do that part.

I'm obviously aware that they'll figure it out eventually. But I just want them to feel a little bit too paranoid, if only for a couple of days. The more people I can get to do this, the more convincing it will seem. So, please, I beg of you:

Just thought I'd mention that after a few emails I invited one of them to join me and a friend (the guy who posted those other threads) to an irc channel. 3 of them came in, but the only name they used was Drew. I assume one of them was Michael because that's who I emailed with the invite. They claimed they weren't really involved and that "timmy & shaun" were to blame. The Drew character didn't seem so bad, maybe even a little sorry that things went so far, but the others were right jerks and acted high and mighty on the basis that we'd never actually meet them. They were all kicked off the channel by an op in the end.

I won't be doing anything else on the matter as they're not worth my time, but I hope you enjoyed the show anyway, Uber. ;)

EDIT: To elaborate why it makes no difference is that this info's going to spread regardless of them finding out. And it'll die out eventually, perhaps even prematurely. Like I said to Fourat, I don't care how it ends up. I just needed to do SOMETHING to these guys.

Funnily enough, some of my mates did the same thing to another mate a few years back.

I wanted nothing to do with it, seeing as how it wasn't right, but unfortunately I got dragged into it.

How you ask?

Well, one of my mates acted as a chick, my other mate, being the gullable fool that he is falling for every word, but thats besides the point. This went along for a couple of weeks, and my mate, the one who the prank was being played on (lets call him Jim) requested a pic of the "girl" he was chatting to, which actually was my other mate (lets call him John). John sent him a pic of some chick that he was chatting to on the net a while back (realism works wonders), and in return, Jim sent John a pic of himself...which incidentally contained both himself and myself (it was a school pic). Anyway, Jim asked John which one he thought he was (insecurity to the extreme) and to further the prank, John said that he thought Jim was actually me (hope this isn't getting confusing). Well, let me tell you, didn't this open a floddgate of backstabbing and bitching. Jim went on to say that everybody thinks the same thing (the fact that he's done it before is quite disturbing) and that i'm always getting the attention and i'm "really" a dickhead, etc etc. Therefore, I was involved, and I don't take this shit lightly.

Instead of knocking the little shithead out, I chose to just confront him about it. It was lunchtime, and I grabbed him and told him to come with me. We went to some nearby bushes and told him everything, not only about the whole charade, but about the whole backstabbing BS in relation to myself. His face just went red and stuttered like I heard no person stutter before. He's still an "friend" of mine, but to this day I can't trust him and keep him at arms length...it's amazing what your "so called friends" will do behind your back, and thus I don't think "true" friends exist.

While this doesn't directly relate to your problem Mensch, I just wanted to tell a story of a similar nature.

It's my experiance that revenge isn't always the best option. these people maybe getting E-mail bombed and what not...But what plan are they now hatching to get back at you?

It isn't just this one issue. I've had a mate so jealous of the relationship between myself and another mate that he threatened to kil himself...more than once.

I've had backstabbing aplenty from other people too..so it's not just this case.

Sounds like you have had some rough mates. Its easy for me to say but try not to let bad people like that change the type of person you are.

Oh they're not changing who I am, I just keep a very close eye on my current group of friends.

EDIT: For the record, I had a similar, ultra cruel prank pulled on me and they never told me, I had to work it out myself. It seriously had me shaken up for ages. But getting them back isn't worth it. It's hella hard, but letting go of it and moving on is ultimately the much smarter move. :)

I'm with Uber here, FG. I helped Uber out because I can understand how such a prank would make someone feel (I've seen it happen to someone, or more importantly I saw the effects of it). Sometimes it's just better to do something and make yourself feel better. :)

Having said that, I'd have much rather seen you go mental on their arses with a samurai sword in a tight yellow suit. Now THAT would have been a roaring rampage of revenge ;)

I understand too! Look, about a year ago my "friends" began a series of really cruel pranks, where they recorded their voices on computer, digitally manipulated it, and called me up, playing freaky recorded messages, threatening me. They did this three nights in a row, and I came this close to calling the police. I was totally freaked out and couldn't sleep, I hoped it would all go away. I ended up telling my best mate what the third call said and he picked up a phrase he overheard these other guys saying at school. Sure enough, three guys, two I considered very close friends, were behind it, and had no intention of telling me.

For the first time in my life I had enough anger inside of me to kill someone. Thank goodness I found out over a phone call at home whilst alone. I paced for an hour after that call, I wanted to snap their necks. However, after enough time I finally just let go. I let go of my anger towards them and freed myself of it. I know, easier said than done, it took me an hour of intense contemplating to do it. Anywho, next day I spoke to them and they did, awkwardly, apologise and we were all fine again.

While I can tell these morons of yours Uber aren't likely to apologise, they don't need to. Just let go, they're not worth it. :)

No, these guys will never apologise. They still find the whole ordeal quite funny.

Just be happy in knowing that whether you act as the better man or not, you are the better man than them. They're probably not 100% happy if they felt the need to do this thing to you.

The same thing happened to a friend of mine while he was at school. He hasn't gotten over it. However, I thought then and I still think now that it's appaling what some people will do to fuck with you.
