Mark Wahlberg stars in the latest videogame>movie craze Max Payne. From the trailer alone it looks like they've nailed it with a combination of Sin City & Hard Boiled film styles. The music is perfect, the voice is perfect and the fact they've taken this seriously compared to franchises like Resident Evil & Hitman besides the names alone this will be one to look out for :D

This looks like it could actually be pretty good. Regardless, my expectations for this movie are still rather low, only because I've seen how retarded Hollywood thinks gamers are.

The movie doesn't look good, but it doesn't look terrible either. One thing I am hoping for is this: Please do not over-use bullet time.

It doesn't look good? Have you played Max Payne? They've followed this more closely than the drivel videogame translations I've seen (which I usually skip in the cinemas) - I love everything this trailer features

I haven't even played a Max Payne game but I can just tell this will shit on other video game to movie adaptions. Whether it will actually be good or just the best of a bad bunch is still to be decided though. :P
