May 17th 2008 Whilst the Wii controller, is greatly suited for First Person Shooter games, not many developers have focused on delivering these titles to the system, Red Steel, a Wii launch title, while it's quality was heavily debated amongst gamers, it still sold very well, showing that there is an auideance for first person action games on Wii, but since then FPS games designed from the ground up for Wii have been few and far between, that is until now.
Enter The Conduit, developed by High Voltage Software, the title still does not have a publisher, but interest has been gathering since news of the title emerged, now the first ever trailer of the game has been released, showing off an impressive graphics engine for Wii, the game is a futuristic FPS set in a sci fi setting, not particarly unique, but there is nothing else like it on the Wii platform.
The game is looking great, hopefully a publisher picks this up soon, as the Wii needs more games like this, and with the sales of the Wii showing no signs of slowing down, it should give more publishers confidence to bring different genres of games not provided by Nintendo to the Wii platform.
