Zomg. That's somewhat cool, mostly because it's portable Guitar Hero and because the video of it has an OK Go song :P

So it has a peripheral dealy with four fret buttons that plugs into the GBA slot and then you strum on the touch screen. I'll bite  (assuming the price is right) Also, it only has four fret buttons rather than the console's five.

I wonder if it will be a better music game than Elite Beat Agents... suppose I could compare the console version to the DS version, and doing that I would say that they're both awesome. Anyway, thoughts?

Thoughts are that it looks weird. :P

I may or may not get it, depends on song choice really. However portable Guitar Hero is indeed win.

It looks fun, but the way that they've chosen to put the teaser trailer makes the players look absolutely stupid :P
Having said that, only slightly more stupid than flailing around on a plastic guitar :P

:o :o :o

It will happen because of the money. Plus V V is one of the most talented handheld developers out there.

I just wonder with both of them how are you supposed to know what note to play? I like to idea of Guitar Hero on the DS, and I like better IGN's. If it's like that I just think that you might have to bend your neck in a weird way to know what to play.

in case you can't see it from the pic, you hold the DS in book form when you're playing it and the notes show up on the top/left screen.

Also, Robert - Vicarious Visions are indeed excellent portable developers - the Tony Hawk games on GBA were technical feats at the time and were and still are brilliant games. (Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 was my first and most loved GBA game...)

If you could add one song to the game...

Too much Metallica, Guns 'N' Roses, and DragonForce. Needs more Muse.

Exo-Politics - Muse :D

Wow that video was impressive, I was a little skeptical but i'm digging the whole idea now. :)

Anyone played through this yet? Fun, long lasting game with minor flaws and a great multiplayer aspect. I love it as much as the ps2 and 360 versions. I highly recommend checking it out. :)

The only dilemma is the cost I suppose, but considering it comes with the game, guitar peripheral, and stickers for your skin (and any other skins you print off and/or purchase,) it's definitely worth the money.

My opinion is a bit different :P

I love the console GH games, but I just didn't like GH DS.
Barely any of the songs felt fun to play.
Plus theres that fact that swiping a touch screen gives no tactile feedback, and isn't quite as accurate as the strum bar, and so it's stupidly difficult to do the notes which come at you in quick succession.

I ended up taking it back, after giving it a week to prove itself.
