Well I am a double silver axe in this game, and play a fair bit, as those who play know.

Hm, I've been meaning to get into Gunbound for ages, but still haven't gotten round to it. Maybe I'm just too lazy...

I'm cruising along on Battle Axe, just over 7000 gp, and a very suave outfit including a tuxedo and tophat. :D

So many people seem to play this, but I can't find the time ... what with ET and all :)

Might give it a go if I'm totally bored one day.

Yep, I play Gunbound a fair bit - currently double silver axe and climbing the ranks to gold.

I love my avatar at the moment (Officer head, Officer Uniform, Moon stick and Heart painting). I originally had the Nymph outfit and Fruit Angel head, but ended up selling them because I couldn't be arsed saving up longer for the Officer gear and Moon stick, and I prefer the officer unifrom anyway.

I have about 10 or so outfits planned (GB is great for girls who like to dress things up :P ), but I'm happy with mai little Tr1ggasaurus for the time being.

It's odd, because it's not a particularly revolutionary or stellar game, but it keeps you coming back for more.

I think it has something to do with those zany avatars and the fact that you can nearly always find a mate online to play with.

And Syb, you need to play with friends, trust me. Before I started learning the ropes with the hyper crew, I hated the game, as no one gave you a chance. Now i'm kicking Tr1gss' ass with the best of them. :ph43r:

The fact that the game's free to download and not all that large makes it easier for large communities, such as our own, to congregate and play the game. :D

Some players have noticed me climbing the ranks of the HyperVC clan very, very quickly of late. Better watch out, I'm a deadly adversary now and those who have seen me play will know all too well. ;)

I'm currently at golden axe level. :)

I was hooked when I got this game at the start of my uni break, but now that I'm back at uni, I don't think this will see much play time :(

At least I have my reasons for not being able to play that much, but I don't mind if you overtake me, although to think I have being playing for 6 months or so and yet you guys / gals have been playing for a month or two and are beating me. :)

Aye, Ghaz plays the damn thing non-stop!! No wonder we just got capped. :P

I'm on double axe, ranked about 24th in the guild, but i haven't checked or played in a few days.

Good thing about GunBound that I have found internet wise is that it uses very little bandwidth, maybe 600k an hour at most, this has really been useful because of my download limit of either 200 or 400mb.

And yes, Ghaz started playing GunBound after I did and shot past me like a bullet, she is double silver while I'm double stone!

Me and my new rocker's hair :D I'm still on gold axe, but should be double pretty soon, my next purchase being a bazooka or those night (red eye) goggles.

What exactly does this game involve?

It's like worms technically.

Each player has one vehicle (choose from a list of 15 i think) you choose angle and power and shoot at the opposition. Each vehicle has a standard shot, better shot and an ultimate shot (which can only be used about twice in each game).

Last team standing wins.

There's a little more to it than that, but that's the general idea.

Wow, I got so ticked off by a double-sided silver axe player the other day, whom I have aptly named, "Noob".

Whilst playing our game, I went Aduka and he went Big Foot (same team) in a 3 vs 3 match. I succesfully took out 2 of the oppostion and almost onto my third when Noob, instead of firing another round at the enemy he had been trying to kill all game (who still had 3/4 health) shot my opponent to steal my kill and win the game, however, right after his turn was my turn, and I had no doubt that I would have killed the enemy my turn meaning it was a blatant kill-steal. To make it worse, I asked him not to kill steal, seemed as though he agreed because he faced the opposite direction but last second he turned and killed my guy.

Sorry, had to get it off my chest, I can't stand noobs like that. The only way they go up in rank is by leeching off other players skill.

Gunbound wont work for me. I have downloaded and installed it three seperate times. No luck. :angry:

This game is way too addictive, and I for one think thats a good thing. I am the creator and leader of the HyperVC guild for members of the hyperactive and vcgn forums (which have suddenly died after the guild was created <_<) I'll be condensing the guild to be, despite its name, essentially an evo guild until I can trust hyper again.
