Title: Internet Ads
Description: The best of the worst...or best.

After visiting a site and seeing the ad below, I finally decided that this was worthy of it's own thread. Ever gone to a website and seen a truly annoying, hilarious or just plain idiotic ad? I know I have, and I know all of you have too.
We all might remember that army one on Hyperactive. Visually it was fine, but this part wasn't:
BEEP BEE BEEP BEEEEEP!! BEEEEEEEEEP BEEE BEEE BEEEEP!!!Impossible to listen to music and surf Hyperactive. But the ad that trigger my desire to create this topic, was this ad:
What the heck does that chick have to do with mobile phone features?! AAARRRGGGHHH!!! by all means people, please post your annoying, funny or stupid ads here. There's billions out there to choose from...

Who cares! Look at that body!
Best. Ad. Ever!

I can't say I ever experienced the Hyperactive/Defense Force recruitment period, but I've heard some rather interesting stories. Morse code, engine sounds and the like.
Guru, I'd buy those features just because of that girl! :)
This one here...

... is pretty shocking if you ask me. Big ugly piece of crap that squashes your viewing window all out of shape. On top of that, it's and advertisement for advertising. People will try and sell anything online.

Nice thread! :D
I posted this in
my LiveJournal not long ago.
CLICK CLICKETY CLICK CLICKETY CLICK CLICK CLIIIIIIICKWhen I first saw it I thought "hey cool, hotmail has porn now!" but upon scrolling down I saw that it was merely an ad for lingerie. Considering the subject matter, it's ironic that the girl in the ad is actually more dressed than the girl in FG's mobile phone ad.

Haha, I love at the bottom of that ad with the sexy chick in lingerie..."Order now for mother's day" :P

Thats just the stuff I was after for My mum on mothers day. Why oh why did I not log on to Hotmail.

Those ones when you enter popular gaming sites ie. Gamespot.com and you are forced to watch the flash ad to enter, they piss me right off. They also stick them between friggen links the bastards!!!

Has anyone seen those 'punch the monkey' ads, or it might be slap, not sure. They're kinda fun, for a few seconds anyway.

I absolutely hate the ads which mimic a window or computer interface, they don't fool me, but my mum and sister are always calling me asking about "Should I click here so the clock is right?" or, "Is it true we are the 10,000th person and we win a trip?".
My all time favourite ad, the one I would be proud to have clogging up space on my website was one for Maltesers. The Maltesers slowly rise like air bubbles in water, and cascades around the cursor when you move it around.

I always find the popup ads that are trying to sell you a popup remover program amusing.
