Title: Remove Post Count

Robert - November 22, 2007 05:15 AM (GMT)
I suggest that we remove the post count in a user's profile. That way, everyone can be considered equal. :D

FreakTrigger - November 22, 2007 05:20 AM (GMT)
But this way, some of us get to be more equal!

arcalypse - November 22, 2007 06:31 AM (GMT)
I do not believe that this would be a beneficial choice for several reasons. Robert, I must say that I respect your decision to impose this rule, being that you have so many posts yourself, but I don't truly believe that post-count dictates your value in any sort of manner. Though, it does on a "personal" level, to different people, the "forum" itself has no rule in play that states "individuals with higher post counts than yourself are considered more valuable" :P I believe that everyone should be proud of their post count, and willingly keep it. Just my opinion of course :)

I mean, I hope that no one has the ability to brandish their post count, and "pwn my f&c3 with their uber l337 ninja skillz" :fight:

No way, I worked way too hard for my Post Count!! :P

So did Estapol with his negatives :P

I prefer it remains the same and its helpful when there's a spambot running about

dave_cool31 - November 22, 2007 09:09 AM (GMT)
This is a terrible idea. I've spammed long and hard for my 1600 posts! :P

Ninja Catfish - November 22, 2007 12:27 PM (GMT)
Eh, I couldn't really care about my post count.
My huge post count is over at Vooks, here it's less important/big :P

Random Hero - November 28, 2007 03:36 AM (GMT)
Nobody will sever my e-penis! NOBODY!! :P

Decman - December 1, 2007 11:51 AM (GMT)
Nor mine! ALMOST...1000...POSTS...:P

Robert - December 2, 2007 04:31 AM (GMT)
I guess that's a no then? :P

Ninja Catfish - December 2, 2007 05:48 AM (GMT)
I'd say so.
Apart from e-peen, post count can sometimes give you a sense that you've contributed and possibly become a regular/important part of a forum.

Also, I'm nearly at 500 ;D

Takora - December 2, 2007 06:25 AM (GMT)
I just achieved 20. Don't rob me of my hard earned post count :(

Whiskerz - January 1, 2008 11:16 PM (GMT)
Post counts are important to some, to the others they can ignore it.
