Who remembers this game? Syndicate, Syndicate: American Revolt (the hardcore expansion) and Syndicate Wars?
This was created back in Bullfrog's heyday, in where they couldn't put too much of a foot wrong.
As games these days focus more on bringing a more immersive experience to the action/strategy genre, do you think this style of game would still stand tall in today's market?
The simplification of graphics could lend itself to ultra destructive environments, which could in turn affect the level you're playing on, as buildings collapse, creating cover for fire exchanges.
Anyone recall? Discuss :)
Despite being so old, this has to be one of the best games of all time.
I tried running Syndicate Wars recently, and found some problems with DOS Box... but it's probably my noobishness
You really can't go wrong with shotguns and religious cults. :D
i have many fond memories of going to my friend's house to play syndicate and wolfenstein on his father's computer; was before i had any videogames of my own except play and watch
