Which brings forth the question, how many of you own a functioning PC mic? Unfortunately I'm still in the 'plan on getting one' stage, always manages to slip my mind whenever I'm shopping. I'll put a written reminder on my fridge or something. :P

Yep, I've got one. A seperate one - it's not part of a headset or anything.

I have a mic on my headset and also one in my webcam which is broken (the mic part, not the webcam part, which I barely ever use, anyway...)

I voted "Yes I do" (which seems stupid since I'm already doing the podcast) but only so I could see the results on the portal instead of checking this thread all the time :P

I got one built into the laptop i'm currently on, which is handy with Skype: no need to dick around with headsets. Turning the volume down can help with the echo that the caller hears.

Don't have one here and don't really see the point in getting one due to the PC being in the loungeroom and as such, in a place where other people relax and do their thing.
Just because I don't have a mic though, doesn't necessarily mean I won't be in a future podcast. I may just be in one, we'll see though..

I have one in a headset, one in my webcam, and abother standalone desktop one.
Comes in handy playing with friends on CSS and such.
