Age Of Empires III Asian dynasties is the latest expansion pack that has been released for AOEIII containing three new civilistations,new maps and new campaigns.

Yep, sure does. Noticed an ad for it in the new issue of PCG UK. Japan, China and India I believe. No prizes for what nation I'll be picking.

Still don't have AoEIII though. :P

Age of Empires is a franchise that REALLY needs to be put to bed.

Its time has well and truly past and AoEIII made that abundantly clear in my eyes.

The expansion aint scoring so well. The latest PCPP gave it a 6.

What they need is to revamp the series and set the next one in say a WWII or WWI setting.

I think they just need to leave the series, find something else to do. Ensemble has done nothing but AOE (I include AOM in that list) games since 2001.

Covering what can be considered as one of the richest periods of the World's history, the Age of Empires III story can be considered as quite boring and not covering the richness of that period at all.

They are. Halo Wars.

I hope that Age Of Empires will create a great tool to build maps, as Blizzard does. Look at maps like DotA, we want the same of AoE.

Nevertheless, I am always fond of Ensemble Studios' game, they are overall good.

I know about Halo Wars, I was more referring to the fact the AoE franchise is a dead one in my eyes.
