Title: Gaming news?

I've seen alot of good gaming news recently which could have been posted up but hasn't. What would you guys think about letting members post gaming news? If we're given the right posting layout i'm sure we could do it well. Even if it isn't a big news item and only gets one reply, it's still activity. I'd prefer to have heaps of small news items, rather than 1 or 2 big ones a month. :)

Yeah sorry, I haven't had the chance to post gaming news at the moment, I've been too busy, I was hoping one of the other chaps would have done some updates, but doesn't look like it.
I dont think we'll have regular members posting the news though, I'll have to crap the whip on some of these new VIP's or something :P
Maybe we could implement some sort of news tips device? Where if you guys see any news you think is worthy to be posted on the Portal you can submit it and we'll post it up if its indeed worthy. Actually thats a decent idea .. good one borg, yeah thanks! Ahem .. umm I suppose for the time being, you can PM me your tips until we implement some sort of news tips feature (if possible). But feel free to PM me your tips for now and I'll get to them :)

In 2 days but a lot of gaming websites already have the review copy. We don't care much about America since this is mainly an australian website :P
I haven't been posting anything lately since I can't read much atm & I'm constantly getting capped

The thing is I live in Ireland so I really dont know much about american and asian fame release dates.

At first I didn't agree with this but there has been no news lately and there has been some pretty big news items, Gibson suing Activision for one. Maybe members should be allowed to post news like other forums such as evil avatar?

In short, I haven't had the time to update news anymore, as I work full time now, I don't really have as much time to spend on the internet.
I agree, that some other solution is needed to get more news on the main page, we do have several other members with the ability to post news though ...
