Title: Newstopia - Shaun Micallef's new TV show

A few weeks back I bought his box set of 'the Micallef program' and I laughed til I cried. Thank God he's back on the box, it's on every Wednesday at 10:00pm on SBS. Very funny so far, about 15 minutes into the first episode now, reminds me of the Daily Show but no crowd and of course it has a unique brand of Micallef humor. Well worth a watch, tune in people! :)

I bought that Micallef in a Box. Unfortunately for me the show aged rather badly and the jokes weren't as funny as they once seemed. I bought another Micallef 2disc DVD for my friend which covered various stuff from his various shows and that contained many lol moments thanks to "The World Around Us" sketches

I only wish he did more sketches involving a rotating room like the wine celler and when he came home to his wife "Have you been drinking?" the wife asks as he walks into the house at a 45 degree angle

I'll give Newstopia a glance over, its not 10pm yet here

Been a massive fan ever since his early days on Full Frontal, I can't get enough of his oddball humor. Whatever he does is brilliant, yes even Micallef Tonight on channel nine. :D I have the first episode of Newstopia ready and waiting on my DVD Recorder HD, can't wait. :)

I re-watched the Micallef p®ogram(me) recently and I think it's still absolutely fantastic. Much funnier than any Aussie comedy on tv at the moment (yep, even Summer Hights High).

Anyway, his new show was pretty cool too. It was a little bit too similar to Backburner or The Daily Show. But I still laughed a great deal. Wednesday nights is looking very good for comedy atm. :D

Missed it :( Oh well let's hope it doesn't get canceled quickly this time.

You can download episodes from the sbs website. Don't know about quality, but it can't be worse than the ABC tv show downloads...
