August 10th, 2007- It seems quite certain that at least two of the "big three" Wii titles will be released in Australia by the end of 2007, and from the looks of it both games will release in November. Firstly according to numerous gaming online retailers including Evolution partner Gamehead, Super Mario Galaxy has a release date of
November 15th, 2007, a mere few days after the American release.
The other big title that looks set to be released this year, is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, having been
already classified by the Australian Classification Board, a pending release date is sure to come soon, retailer DVDCrave has the title listed for
November 8th, 2007, which is a mere week before the Galaxy date, which means that two massive Wii games may be released within a week of each other in Australia!
The Metroid date does not appear on other retailers list at this point, but this is likely due to the unconfirmed price, as most retailers tend to list games when the price is confirmed, these details should be ironed out shortly and official dates for both games is likely to be announced very soon.
