Thread opened for a new trial and further plugging :P, since the Podcasts may be forgotten about on the Portal as new topics get posted.

Anyway discuss the Evo Podcasts here, and bring forth any suggestions, comments, praise about any of the episodes in this thread! :)

Latest Episode was Episode 3, which was quite the achievement having three people in multiple time zones! For those of you that missed it, this latest episode features regulars myself and backslash as well as our American friend Angra.

New Episodes of the Podcast will still be posted on the Portal, but we'll leave this thread open for continuing discussion of overall Podcast goodness, as any discussions in the Portal threads are usually initial sort of comments that isn't proper ongoing discussion.

What did you like about it? What did it have that the others didn't? And where should future episodes go from here?

Well it just feels as though you two have found your feet and are really getting used to it now. And having Angra appear was the icing on the cake. My only advise is to only do it with 3 or more people and perhaps mention the url and promote the podcast somehow.

Cool thanks for the feedback, yeah after doing a few shows I think we have been getting better, as with anything practice makes perfect :)

Good idea on mentioning the url, though I think that works best if the podcast is promoted to outside the Evo community, cause at the moment you all know the url and only you guys would download it. But yeah it can be a way to get further exposure ... :)

Podcast archive link on the left side of the portal maybe? Or maybe its own standalone portal box with a microphone picture next to it so people can get the general idea?

Yeah perhaps, we should probably discuss any further ideas in the Mod thread, you know keep suprises and all :P

Actually, yeah, I think it's best that the podcast has its own box in the portal. The new podcast announcements are overshadowed by the newer gaming news. Maybe it should replace Video of the Week?

Is there a way to promote the Evo podcasts outside of Evo? :P

iTunes I guess, but that would require authority from one of the admins ... hello*?!!? :P
