Ah, the Beat-'Em-Up genre certainly went the way of the dinosaur didn't it? I'm sure we all have a favourite from back in the day, right? Personally, I gotta go with the Streets of Rage series. Yes, It won't win any awards for innovation, but it doesn't have to as It's extraordinarily fun right the way through.

Almost everything about TMNT IV: Turtles in Time is great. In my opinion, this is the best 2D side scroller game so far. I rank it right above everything on that poll list.

Double Dragon is the game that got me into video games. So it's Billy and Jimmy's fault!

I was trying to toss between Final Fight and Double Dragon. Went with Final Fight though I think I secretly love Double Dragon more, maybe it's the movie that put me off.

Ninja Turtles does it for me, it's just the pure cartoon nostalgia. :)

Golden Axe would come a close second...

Streets of Rage 3 is the best game in the SoR series--a series which, in my opinion, is more fun to play to this day than any installment of "Final Fight" or its clones--hands down.

Dynasty Warriors for me. Way back at the beginning of my PS2 days, DW was enchanting with its massive-scale battles and even though you were uber powerful, with all the other soldiers running around, it just gave you the sense of being 'just another pawn in the game'. Plus chicks in skimpy outfits...? :D

And then along came Spartan: Total Warrior. :unsure:

Even though the answer to everything in life is battletoads, I'm going with Golden Axe.
