Title: The Godfather

I want to watch it. I'm just wondering, how hard is it to follow/understand? I've read on IMDB people finding it difficult to follow, though there are a lot of idiots on IMDB so that might not be the case.
It sounds like a movie where you would find something new every time you watch it, but is the general gist of the story alright to understand in one viewing?

It's not that complicated, but there are things that get picked up on repeated viewings, as with pretty much every other movie ever made.
Watch it.

Yeah watch it, classic film :D
It's not too difficult to understand at all, except maybe understanding what the hell the Don (Marlon Brando) is saying half the time :P

I really do just need to watch it and get it over with. And if I like it i'll probably watch it a few times later on and pick up on the little things anyway. I'm very interested to see what all the fuss is about.

You make it sound like watching it is a chore or something.
