Nintendo has officially announced it's Wii release schedule for the US Q3/Summer period. Nintendo has scheduled a wide variety of titles from hardcore gaming experiences to pick up and play casual games. Below the release list.


Summer Wii Release Schedule, USA
Mario Strikers Charged: July 30 - Nintendo

Metroid Prime 3 Corruption: Aug. 20 - Nintendo

Battalion Wars 2: September - Nintendo

High School Musical: Sing It!: Aug. 14 - Disney Interactive

Madden NFL '08: Aug. 14 - EA

Tiger Woods PGA Tour '08: August - EA

Space Station Tycoon: August - Namco Bandai

Brunswick Pro Bowling: August - Crave

Dave Mirra BMX Challenge: August - Crave

Pinball Hall of fame: The Williams Collection: Aug. - Crave

Brothers in Arms: September - Ubisoft

Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal: September - Warner Bros.

George of the Jungle: September - Crave

Boogie: Fall - EA

Of most signficance would be the release date for Metroid Prime 3 Corruption the final game in the "Metroid Prime" series, in this game Samus once again faces the threat of the Phazon and will run into her nemesis Dark Samus along with other new characters. The game takes full advantage of the Wiimote and Nunchuk.

Battalion Wars 2 is another notable title, which will feature online co op and competive multiplayer modes.

Mario Stikers will release in Europe this week and in Australia on June 7th, there has been no confirmed details on the PAL release dates of the above games.

I'm definitely looking forward to MP3. Other than that, all I'm really looking at is Battalion Wars, and the first one wasn't that great, so I'm taking a wait-and-see approach.

Well the release schedule is only up to September at this point, so Galaxy will probably hit in October - December ;)

I think it's pretty rad and surprising that we get Mario Strikers over a month before the US - I'm still not sure whether or not it'll be worth my money, though
