Well the story is certainly different but from what i've seen so far i simply cannot wait!

The Biohazard 4 Clip is better, it has traditional "scary" music as opposed to that generic hard rock crap. (Hard is good, but it doesn't go with RE ;) )

That was damn cool. While I agree with you Espatol, I think that music track suited the trailer. :P

That trailer was even better than the new Zelda game video. While Zelda looks to just be a graphical improvement with minor gameplay tweaks Capcom look to have completely overhauled the whole gameplay structure for this fourth installment and also supplied it with a polished presentation.

It has continued to stand aloft on my most antcipation list.

I had no idea they were actually going to put thought into this sequel.

So many games, so little time in the world....

Wow that second trailer just gives you a real sense of what the game will be like im looking forward to this more then the new Zelda atm. The combat looks like its gone through a brilliant overhaul and seems very smooth.

The story looks set to be there as well (im guessing the girl has some significance to the 'bad guys' of the story - notice how the zombies were trying to carry her off and wernt killing her?) - More weapons will be awsome, rocket launcher explosion looked much better then the old 1's, sniper will be cool especially with the improved AI where the enemies track you for extended periods. And the pistol looks like it actually packs a punch this time and will be usable for the most part hopefully.

The way you can aim wherever you want with the weapons is a very welcome additon itll be totally awsome taking out the different body parts and seeing the effects.

The clergyman type people in the cloaks look VERY cool, using the scythes, and what looked like commanding the zombie type fellow onto you.

yeah the trailer looks great, I happen to also like the aspect of shooting anywhere you please and can give way to some interesting boss fights, maybe a guy that jumps over Leon? The villagers seen to have some great AI under their belts, and the dumping of the body in the lake was awesome, these type of events will probably add wonderfull/grotesque moments a la Silent Hill.

I'm pretty sure that rock music is just used for the trailer, I doubt it'll be in the final game...

It seems that you have wrongly presumed that Leon is not controlled with the traditional RE control setup. :P

The same controls are still in place, but accroding to reports, it works alot better now as you now have full control over the camera. ;)

I don't know 'bout the no zombie thing, in the trailer I downloaded of the monks had a crusty "zombie like face" and tries to bite Leon so maybe they do or maybe not.

quartz_donkey, I know what you mean. (see cd2's picture) While he could be classified as a zombie, we don't know if he is. He could be a Monk that was tortured and what-not. Plus the crazed village people are the main enemies.

I'm glad there are new enemies and what not in this game.

I still believe that the Umbrealla coorporation is behind the crazed villagers as they are the result of a "perfected" T-Virus, as with the previous RE games the zombies were a result of the T-Virus and experiements gone horribly wrong.

Since the game is sent 6 years after the destruction of Racoon City, the game may just want to have you think the Umbrella has been defated, but in reality they have been working in secret to perfect the virus, and once they did after 6 long years, the coorporation vow to get revenge on the US govt for destrorying all their labs in Racoon, hence abduct the President's daughter.

It's just my theory, but I think it fits pretty well into the RE universe, as it connects with the story and allows Capcom to develop new ideas and gameplay into the RE games as well :) .

Yes you can, you just click on the movie you want(this is at ign), then when the streaming video comes up click "left click to download", thena another window will pop-up saying "right click to save". :thumbsup:

i thought the left click would've been to start the automatic playback in the window viewed :huh: (usually websites say right click, not left and then right)

oh well, it was 12.45am at the time and i can't be working out such complex commands :D plus i found alternatives so it didn't really matter in the end

The new(ish) clip at IGN is pretty cool. Very tense seeing Leon being chased by the villagers. :D

I didn't really enjoy this new clip, just felt old or something. Plus it shows us what we can do in that area now. ;)
