We have just reached the 1,000 members landmark. Congratulations Evolution! We'd like to say thank you to all the wonderful members here, especially the active regulars. You guys and gals mold the forum into what it is today. With the last 500 members coming in significantly quicker than our intial 500, we are growing more and more rapidly. You all help us to be the largest and number one gaming forum on the InvisionFree Network. Thanks to the hard working staff that volunteer here for nothing in return, we can provide you all with a reliable and flexible place for you to talk about whatever takes your fancy.

Again, thank you everyone, and hopefully in a few more weeks we'll get to post the big 100,000 posts announcement. :thumbsup:

This is a pretty awesome milestone for us, this place has certainly grown into something different from where it started off, many of our most recent members that have lead to this 1,000 post milestone have nothing to do with our history, we've grown into our own community and let us continue to do so :D

Well I'm probably going to have a bit more of a presence around here now.

Hyper has been shitting me, I go there for the games discussion but it seems like everyone is too busy trying to be an asshole or show how superior they are to everyone else.


Evo is like Cheers, it's a friendly place where everybody knows your name (probably because it's written at the top left of every post)

Is there some way we could achieve an online record? The most we've ever had online was 90 on Feb 1st 2006. I think Hyper was down at the time :P

Anyway congratulations to Evo for making it to 1000 members and while obviously not that many post, it's still cool for us to reach that milestone. After all, you can't have regular posters without people signing up so if someone takes the time to sign up, at the very least it's a start and could lead to us gaining one, or many a decent member. The weird thing for me though? Knowing that I was the 7th member here...

I do agree there. Hyper's kind of annoying me too. I like it here. Only thing that bothers me is the relative lack fo members, but that's probably only a good thing - means I'll be less forum addicted as there's less daily posts to read :P

I remember the old Hyper days when I was a noob then they moved or something. I stayed a few years but then moved here to Evo. I still see old members like Gnomes, TJ1, Mach etc on here. Good times.

No, DJ Civic's just wants to reach a milestone, so he changed the amount of posts he's got using his admin powers. If you look at BrotherEstapol's it counts down from negative 99,000 odd posts.

Also most of our posts were accumulated from another forum before we gave birth to Evolution

By the way, edited post counts (including the old post count refund) don't have any effect on Evolution's overall post tally. Our 97,000+ posts were made from scratch.
