I mostly play mine on the bus to and from school, just before bed (makes me tired) and sometimes even on the toilet. :D So where do you guys play most?

At home or in the car on a long trip.

Same, I only got my DS mid last year anywayso I haven't had much time to travel around with it. I'd like to use it whenever I have to see the inlaws but that's considered rude, if I'm in the car I can't concentrate, same goes for the bus. Actually if it was one of those coachline buses I probably could because they tend to be a lot comfier and you never feel the surface vibrations.

As for holidays and such, I never have enough money, except when I went to QLD last year to visit my parents, but I didn't have the DS then. It was pretty painful because often my parents had to go to work and I'd have to keep myself occupied somehow for 9 hours. Sure there was a swimming pool in the backyard and a 126cm widescreen tv but you can only watch so many DVDs.

So I mainly just use mine around the house, usually in either this computer room, the loungeroom or bedroom. Never the toilet, I consider that disgusting.

Just like reading a magazine, with a stylus, which could easily fall into the toilet. Hell I don't even take magazines into the toilet, it's all disgusting for me. Just do your business and get out of there asap! That's my motto :P

Long car rides.

I carry my DS with me everywhere. My purse is "my DS carrier that also holds some of that weird makeup stuff". I've played it in the mall whilst waiting for people before. I've had random guys come up to me and tell me, "That's a cool palm pilot, what kind is it?"

Then I have to explain, "No, I'm actually not a trendy jetsetter like I appear - I'm a fucking nerd and this is my Nintendo DS." Awesome.

Yeah I'm the same, do people get that bored so easily they need to have some sort of distraction while sitting on the toilet? How long do you guys stay in there? :P

But this is going on a bit too much of a tangent now :P So I'll stop there.

I've never understood how people can sit in the toilet and read a newspaper or magazine, or now, play their handhelds.

As for me, I play it in the same place that I play my console games in, my bedroom. Call me a pansy or whatever but I can't take things like my DS out into public for fear that someone will flog it from me while I am playing it, so yeah it remains a home item for me.

Train too an from work - I commute to the northshore, so I've got a solid hour each way to pile into finally killing Dracula/Death with Richter/Maria.

The best way to prevent it is simply to play animal crossing, then people come to the immediate conclusion that you're a geek as soon as they look over your shoulder and then don't bother you with questions

I was playing Phoenix Wright yesterday, school kid looked at me in awe because not only am I mature age, I guess, 25, but I was playing a DS on public transport, and am quite obviously funky and not a geek.
If we want it to be socially seen as normal, we all must do it!

I've always found drinking + games= fail.
Smoking a little however was always good.

This makes me think of Dragonball Z Budokai - the game was a bit average given the lack of range of moves and things, but it was good fun given that it was flashy and the truly powerful moves let you relish the anguish on the oppositions face when they just let the controller slump for twenty seconds while they were pummeled with planetkiller attacks.

After a few drinks though, me and my mates used to find at alwasy completely degenerated - both characters would mangle back and forward like retarded barnyard animals as noone was capable of the extremely picky timing and the neceissity for earlier combo portions to be flawless for any off the harder moves to work - a subtle hilarity.
