Rockstar to reveal first GTA4 trailer to world in less than 2 days...
Once in a great while, we are privileged to experience an event so extraordinary, it becomes part of our shared heritage. March 4, 2000: Sony releases the PlayStation 2. October 2, 2001: Rockstar release the first 3D GTA game... Then, for a long time, nothing happened... until tomorrow! [/lame Krusty quoting from me]
Rockstar will be unleashing the first trailer for GTA4 online on the official site. Make sure to bookmark it. HERE! Set the timers on your watches or phones (I did) so you get to see it first. I predict the site will crash before the trailer is even released; :P

It's just a trailer for GTA4, nothing crashed when the At World's End trailer came out, and that's a hell of a lot bigger than this will be.

It's a trailer of the next biggest GTA game on a next-gen console showing the very first elements of gameplay! How can you not be excited?! :nooo:
I completely forgot about the unveiling, thanks for the heads up DZ but it would've been even better if you posted this upon trailer launch since now you'll have to make 2 portal additions relating to the exact same thing :P

It'd be funny if we all downloaded the trailer and it went something like this:
"First we brought you Grand Theft Auto..."
* shows footage of GTA in action *

Rockstar are capable of doing such a terrible act, you know what they're like! :P DZ are you sure it is going to be GTA 4 online? That has not been confirmed right??

I said it'll be unleashed "online" not that GTA4 will go online! :P But we do know that there will be downloadable content through Live and Network by 2008.

As far as I know Rockstar were behind the very first two GTA games, but under the name of DMA Design at the time rather than Rockstar North. Correct me if I'm wrong though, people.
As for this trailer, I'm looking forward to it. It will be great to finally have some insight in how the game is developing, not to mention the possibility of having some information revealed. It should be good. :)

Yeah they're DMA Design but were acquired by R* for GTA3 I think, check wiwpedia, I can't remember everything.

goddamn it I've woken up at 3am because I was having dreams of GTA. I'm like a 6 year old on xmas morning
On the plus side I dreamt that GTA4 had a character creation mode and had photorealistic graphics so lets hope I'm psychic
I went to the countdown site then put the clock on my pc forward, which got the counter down to zero, the page started redirecting and I started getting my hopes up but it just goes to index2.htm and gives a page cannot be found error. Bastards not making it live yet :P
