Astonishing first round victory from Hewitt, barely got through after being two sets down. I'm always amazed at how he copes with losing multiple sets, to the point of actually thriving of the given situation.

Also, Mathieu retired against Verdasco, twisted his ankle and let out a massive scream from the clip I saw. Ouch!

Sharapova almost got beat too.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see the Hewitt game as I was in line to get a game at EB. >_>

Monfils is two sets up on Baghdatis, he comes up with the most unpredictable plays. :o Still get that feeling Baghdatis is slowly breaking him down though. Should definitely be an interesting match now.

Monfils slayed. This guy definitely has something special. Hit a forehand at 190kmph. :|

Special indeed, an odd player to say the least. Monfils match just started actually. :)

As for Murat V. Roddick... I reckon Andy could've won alot easier, he kept coming in behind those shoddy approaches on Safin's backhand. I suppose he's never been awfully smart with that. Nevertheless, Roddick had some impressive strokes from the baseline and his serve was a weapon yet again. Moving Safin from corner to corner is no easy feat and It's usually the other way around with these two. Deserving win from the A-Rod.
