Basically, next Monday, I'm going paintballing with some friends from my old school, should be pretty fun. I've never been before though, so does anyone have any helpful hints?

I went once in queensland, i felt like I'd ran a marathon afterwards and it hurt way too much. i'll never do it again. my advice would be to camp and get cheap kills, seriously its the way to do it...unfortunately i only realised this at the end of the day

I'll be honest, it hurts like fuck when you first get hit. Tears well up in your eyes and you feel like you're about to cry because it stings so much. But it's so worth it. I love paintballing. You really have to learn by doing, and watching other people. Make sure you're always in cover, ESPECIALLY YOUR HOPPER. Don't let your hopper stick out from behind cover.

Buy a cup/box/nuts protector/whatever the fuck you wanna call it, cause you will get hit in the nether regions. :P

When I went, all the guys bought one cept for one guy who was giving us shit for buying them. Then the guy who worked there chimed in and strongly suggested that he buy one...he gave in and got one.
He got (unintentionally)shot there twice. :P

As did most of the guys actually...me included.
I instead got a mad bruise on my upper-inside of me leg from where it collided with my leg and the cup.

That's only if you're a pussy! :P

Seriously, I had 2 shots hit me in the noggin; one hit the mask on side of my head(it felt like the mask wasn't there though) and the other on the top of my head.
No tears over here. :fight:

Also had one shot hit me in square on my right arse cheek...THAT cained.


OH and I shot some guy in the back and he was only a few metres away. :lol:
Needless to say, I got sent off for a bit since the second whistle hadden't been blown(and you weren't allowed to fire till the 2nd whistle), but it was TOTALLY worth it. :D

My best friend went Paintballing once using paintballs that really hurt (cheap ones), he got shot in the crotch twice, tripped over a log and then got shot in the back of the neck. He had a few bruises on his arms too when I saw him

Stay still, and wait for some other stupid prick to give away his position :P

Luckily I never got shot in the gonads, i tell you i would of just stopped and gave up if that had of happened. body shots are bad enough

My friend Dana's first time playing? Shot twice, one in each nut. Came limping off the field clutching his crotch and one of our friends goes, "So...where'd you get hit?"

Apparently Dana wasn't in enough pain to not be able to spit in the guy's face.

But, for girls, getting hit in the boobs...it sucks so much. It happed twice to me and the balls didn't break each time, and I was just standing there whimpering.

I got pegged in the Thigh and thats that only paitball wound i remember. You will have some bruises but nothing should be too painful except for maybe one of the gonads

Trust me, boobs don't hurt anywhere near as much as balls.

I want to go paintballing, so far I've never been. I have gone to laser skirmish but that sucked mostly because the damn lasers wouldn't register.

Fuck all the strafing and crouching! Myself and a few other friends were pinned down behind a canopy, paintballs exploding everywhere when we decided, what the hell, CHARGE THEM! And indeed we did charge them and by God it was exhilerating. War cry, blind fire, mad sprint, and best of all, thanks to us, we managed to run into their base and grab the flag. Ahhhh, good times. When graveraven posts again, I'm sure he'll elaborate.

But yes my good D43MON, it will hurt. If you get hit in the balls, I wouldn't worry about it, it won't damage your sperm count. But expect a bit of a bruised... I got shot in the back of the head by friendly fire, perforated in the same ankle three times by the same guy... But you'll have an excellent time man, I can't wait to go again. Have a good time ;)

I know, dude. I wasn't saying that, sorry if I implied it. I hate when girls whine about "OMG BEING HIT IN TEH TITS ARE SO MUCH WORSE TAN TEH BALLS ROFL". It's probably not true, of course I can't say from experience, but I'll bet my left tit on it.
