Looks like a good way to waste 90min :P Sorta reminds me of Jurassic Park 2 when the dinosaurs attack the city. But we all know that Transformers is about beating the shit out of eachother which makes me wonder why there's so many humans hanging around. Is there some mad scientist who created these things and made them convey emotion towards humans? Or is it merely a coincedence that 2 different species ended up in the same place? I guess in Beast Wars they did crash into Earth (at least it seemed like Earth in its early years) by accident when their spaceship went out of control

Never did watch any of the series before that which is why I'm making up theories

docturrer - December 24, 2006 05:52 AM (GMT)
No i mean't the whole movie but i looks like it not out yet.

The WHOLE movie? Riiight, I'm sure with 7 months until the initial release date they would've finished all the re-editing by now <_<

Besides, we don't endorse piracy here so asking for free licensed full movies is strictly prohibited and as such, the member may be IP banned for warrants of further discussion towards the matter

docturrer - December 24, 2006 07:13 AM (GMT)
No i did not mean the illegal version, the legal version is not out on a torrent yet thats i wanted to know.

/backslash - December 24, 2006 07:35 AM (GMT)
So you want the illegal version that is legal? :S There is no 'legal' and 'illegal' version of full movie torrents. Anything related to torrents is usually illegal irregardless of what you might think

The only legal thing you can get at the moment is trailers

Still doesn't make much sense despite the edit.
We're not a forum for discussing torrents validating piracy borderlines so don't bother asking if the 'legal' (which is very much illegal) version is on torrents because it'll get you nowhere

Don't bother posting on this thread anymore unless it's something ABOUT the movie itself and not where it can be obtained

The original storyline for the series was that these two warring factions of robots from another planet crashed on earth for some reason millions of years ago, and awoke at the start of this century and started looking for some...thing(I'm rusty on the subject at the moment) and the Autobots(goodies) were trying to stop the Decptacons(baddies) from getting them as they were reckless in their approach, and as such, the Autobots help defend earth from them.

From what I understand, there's a similar storyline for the film.

Also here's a link to an HD version of the trailer:

...and if you watch the streamed trailer at the following link, you hear Optimus saying something at the end of it!!

why do i get a terminator 3 feel from that second trailer?

i want this to be good but i'm lowering my expectations.

Angra - January 2, 2007 04:41 PM (GMT)
I'm going to see this movie because, good or bad, IT'S A TRANSFORMERS MOVIE. It's probably going to be terrible and that's also part of the reason I want to see it, so I can go to the theater with my friends and scream, "OPTIMUSSSSSS" every time Optimus Prime appears onscreen.

hiei4ever - January 19, 2007 03:57 PM (GMT)
I have seen it.... I think it was funny

sunao-kun16 - February 13, 2007 04:46 AM (GMT)
I've downloaded it but I have not seen it yet.

Random Hero - February 13, 2007 06:36 AM (GMT)
Downloading is bad mmm-kay.

*searches for transformers movie torrent*

:D

BrotherEstapol - February 13, 2007 08:02 AM (GMT)
Considering the film's due out in July, I don't think it'll have been leaked this early...but I could be wrong.

Anyways, I thought they were talking about downloading the trailer.

chi*skittles - May 15, 2007 06:45 AM (GMT)
The movie looks awesome and if its anything to compare to the old movie then I'm sure I'll be watching it over and over again.

dave_cool31 - May 19, 2007 07:17 AM (GMT)
zomg there's a new trailer on yahoo this movie looks so freaking awesome :D

Robert - May 19, 2007 08:48 AM (GMT)
The actors that are appearing in this movie is what's killing it for me. There is a terrible line up. WTF, why is Bernie Mac in this movie? That makes no sense. And Tyrese Gibson is a TERRIBLE actor. Some dude I know on another board says that actors don't make a movie. That had to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life.

dave_cool31 - May 19, 2007 09:27 AM (GMT)
well Megan Fox is hot and also transforming robots don't need actors :D

Robert - May 24, 2007 04:53 AM (GMT)
I'm sorry but Transformers will have Spider-man 3's problem: It doesn't cater to and kiss the ass of every single nerd out there. Disappointment will be abound.

dave_cool31 - May 24, 2007 05:17 AM (GMT)
yeh? Well maybe your FACE will have Spiderman 3's problems. Ooh. :fight:

2 words: Michael Bay. Bay will make sure he spells everything out nice and well for you since he doesn't trust his audience to figure anything out on their own. He gonna Bay'd the movie.

dave_cool31 - May 24, 2007 08:07 AM (GMT)
I know :( I'm just trying to pretend it was directed by the guy who directed the Terminator movies... But even being directed by Michael Bay it still has explosions, transforming robots and Megan Fox :D

Robert - June 5, 2007 01:08 PM (GMT)
Optimus Vs Bonecrusher

Well it looks extremely good but that alone wont cut the cake for me.

Andy - July 1, 2007 08:44 AM (GMT)
Just saw this movie today. I'm no film critic, but...

This movie is so many shades of awesome, it's incredible.

A Transformers fan's wet dream.

The Transformers are the stars, without a doubt, and the action scenes are incredible. The actors are simply ballast that keep a story moving.

If I could fault it, it's that the conspiracy theory (about megatron) crap wasn't needed, it wasn't 100% faithful to the original cartoon series (but it was close enough to make me happy), and some of the camera work was needlessly hectic making the fighting robots sometimes mash into an indecipherable ball of fury.

See it. It's a great action movie.

Texta - July 1, 2007 11:06 AM (GMT)
It's probably the best movie ever.

BrotherEstapol - July 1, 2007 03:19 PM (GMT)
I also thought it was great.

8/10 from me.

Gonna go and see it again during the week sometime...that's rare for me. :D

Angra - July 1, 2007 04:28 PM (GMT)
This movie is being released on the 4th of July over here.

Nothing is more American.

Could be worse, UK doesn't get it till the 27th July. I kinda wish they did release this movie on the same day as the US, just so it ties in with my bday nicely (which is also on the 4th July) :D

I still haven't seen it yet, I'm waiting for either Monday/Tuesday to see it with a friend and then see it with another friend (Angela) later on this week (not intentional, just worked out that way)

Resident-Seven - July 1, 2007 05:56 PM (GMT)
I'll go and see it a second time too, but I'll wait till after the holidays. I hate going to the movies in the school holidays, ugh.

dave_cool31 - July 2, 2007 06:29 AM (GMT)
see, Robert, see - it's pretty much the awesomest thing ever - Although I did think there was a bit of handholding throughout the storyline in some parts, so you were right about that. However, the action was were this movie was at, and it was pure awesome :D

I'm considering going to see it again, I'm just not sure if I'd enjoy it as much a second time. As I said in the movie review thread, though, it's really one to see at the movies rather than on DVD (unless you have an awesome TV and sound system (and then it would want to be HD-DVD or Blu-ray)) because it's all about the action (and the sound, too).

D43M0N - July 3, 2007 11:50 AM (GMT)
So, I'm totally seeing this in motherfucking GOLD CLASS tomorrow night.

I might get me some $12 nachos when I lie back in my recliner chair and sip on a tall $12 glass of Coke and watch Optimus Prime and Megatron duke it out.

dave_cool31 - July 3, 2007 11:50 AM (GMT)
how are you going to see it in Gold Class? Is your dad taking you or something? :S

_MetalliX_ - July 3, 2007 12:15 PM (GMT)
Brilliant movie with some highly cheesy and lame moments. Battle scenes were intense, Transformer's were depicted with respect and the heroin was damn hot.

Well worth the ticket price. Definitely one for the collection.

dave_cool31 - July 3, 2007 01:06 PM (GMT)
I couldn't have put it better myself. I give your review 5 stars. However, it's heroine, not heroin - heroin is the drug. Although I guess you could say she's pretty intoxicating, so I'll let it slide this time

Also, as I've stated before, it's definitely one to see at the movies, unless you have some kind of blazingly awesome home theatre setup...

Robert - July 4, 2007 05:11 AM (GMT)
Honestly, I don't see how the movie is getting so much praise. Various problems with story pacing, camera work, and the way some of the action scenes were handled made it quite difficult for me to enjoy the movie.

Sometimes I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, because it seems like I'm the only one who notices these things.

And I know people will go "Its just a fun movie. You need to shut your brain off and just enjoy it", and that worked for a while. For the first 3/4 of the movie, I was having a pretty good time. Then suddenly my brain kicked on for no reason and I started noticing problems coming up on screen and retrospectively noticed problems earlier in the film. It totally ruined my enjoyment because the flaws were so disgustingly apparent that I couldn't look past them.

I wasn't looking for some groundbreaking social commentary or an Oscar winning film. I didn't expect this film to be a landmark for cinema. But I would at least expect what story it has to be well paced, the action scenes to not be boring, and for the camera to actually let us see the transformers fight.

The movie had the potential to be absolutely amazing. But as it stands, its merely average. The good parts equal the bad.

BrotherEstapol - July 4, 2007 11:30 AM (GMT)
I do agree with you about the camera, that was really giving me the shits during the fight in the city. I didn't like the Section 7 stuff either...
But I think the reason why people are rating the film so high, is that their standards are so low...remember, Michael Bay made Pearl Harbour, among other shit, so people were expecting it to be rubbish and it wasn't what they were expecting.

But with you, I think you had your mind made up before you went to the cinema...going by your previous posts in this thread anyway. ;)

Did anyone notice the allusion to Bad Boys II? Thought that was strange.

I just noticed I started this thread, I did not know that...

I preferred the "Armageddon" reference much more.

*Autobot-roid crashes into building*
Idiot With Camera: WOW AN ASTEROID man this is way better than Armageddon :awesome:

The movie is possibly the movie that will make me buy a HD-DVD player and a HD-DVD copy of this film. It was amazing visually. Also Gold Class rocks, sitting in a recliner chair was just crazy-awesome.
