Well, as you no doubt know I was chosen as mod for the xbox forum. I hope to keep this place running as smooth as possible and would just like to say that if you have any ideas on how to run this area better then by all means pm me. If I stuff up, pm me. I am here to serve you guys...I am not here for my own benefit or bragging rights. If I completely suck then I will step aside for someone else to mod.

The xbox forum in Hyper whilst slower than the other forums in terms of posts was probably the cleanest (I am talking about when I was there...I have no idea how it is now :P) and I intend to keep that quality up...although I would like to have it ticking over quite nicely.

Congrats Kid, I couldn't think of a better man for the job. Just do what you do and I'm sure the forums will run fine... I think one reason for the Xbox forum at Hyper being so 'clean' is due to the fact the Xbox seems to have a far higher demographic than its competiters in terms of age, meaning a more mature atmosphere... Although I could be wrong.

3. Well, this I will know ;) The standard size of the harddrive in the xbox unmodded is 8gb. Later on there were 10gb harddrives in the xbox, although they were only formatted to 8gb.

4. Um, sometime this year...and it will be called Far Cry: Stay on PC :P

5. The xbox controller is very very dark green.

6. Ok, not cheating. I believe x = red. y = yellow. a = green and b = blue. I think I have some muddled up.

7. I don't want to. Pistol, shotgun, machine gun, needler, sniper rifle. Rocket launcher....there is that rapid fire plasma, and also the green one which can be charged.

8. Pandora Tomorrow is the code that is used to delay the virus for one more day.

9. I wasn't aware that there was one :P

10. I am not sure, on my modded xbox: start + black + left & right triggers. Although I think on a normal xbox the black and white buttons may be involved

If you weren't a Mod here, Kid, it would be a sign that something is out of whack with the universe. But I do have a suggestion...

We all know that fanboyism is rife. So, what I suggest is this: you set up an independent commission, made up of, say, a dozen of history's best known philosophers. Socrates would be in there, and Plato of course, maybe a couple of the other old dudes as well. Descartes would be a natural selection, as would Heidegger, and it wouldn't be right if we didn't include Nietzsche. Now, once you've decided on a theme song for this think tank (I would suggest Monty Python's Philosopher's song, but that's been done to death), simply E-mail them a copy of every single post made in this forum, and ask them to weed out even the slightest hint of fanboyism.

Well, it's practical, it's efficient, and it shouldn't cost too much. I like it!

Unfortunately Kid Wakelin had to give up his position as Xbox Moderator. :(

I'm a Sony fanboy in the sense that the Playstation 2 is my favourite console. However I'm a strong believer in each console having its merits and owning an Xbox surely shows I'm not some shit-slinging Sony Fanboy. :P

The Xbox has a superior online service to that of the PS2 as well as better hardware. The Xbox also has the majority of the better Console FPS and action games and the better PC ports.
