PS3 has no grass. Failure on PS3s part.

Changed the thread title for more general console Oblivion discussion, 360 or PS3.

Hmmm, I heard about this. Bethesda had no original intentions to release it on the PS3, but I guess that the thought of vacuuming up more money was too hard to resist. Anyway, it's proof that TES is becoming too mainstream. I had Morrowind on the PC and it's my favourite game of all time, but there was something that lacked in Oblivion.

Wow, Sony scored big getting Oblivion. As far as PS3/360 version comparison, it should be practically identical, except for a few bug fixes, and a few extra weapons, armor etc

Best version is the PC as patches come out all the time, but myself i've always played it on 360.
But guess what sure it's a big coup for Sony to pick up Oblivion, but the bigger loss is no Pro Evo or Fifa 07 for PS3 owners!!!! 360 exclusive on the next gen.
So Pro Evo and Fifa vs Oblivion - fair trade....

Isn't it a little late though? I mean everybody who really wanted it would've got it on the PC or 360. I know more than a few people whose 'must-have' game to get at the launch of the 360 was Oblivion. (Got it on PC myself)
Shmeh, it'll still generate a few more sales though.

Well too late in the sense, that everyone who really wanted it would have bought it already.

That's true. I bought my 360 exclusively for Oblivion, because my PC wouldn't be able to handle it. Good thing I did too.
