Title: Banner trouble

I was just noticing that your forum is a certain width and your banner is like...longer than it. I was just wondering if I'm the only one that thinks its one thing making this place looks slightly unproffessional. My opinion, don't worry, I was just saying thats all.

Actually it all depends on your resolution. For me the banner is shorter than the forum, and for other resolutions it fits neatly. There is still some maintenance to be done in the repeating background department throughout the forum, I'm sure it will be done eventually, but its not a major concern and theres no rush.

i think it should be smaller

Well if you want a Tip. It looks like you guys have the forum on a setting width of about 80%. If you change that in the CSS to 800px which is the standard forum size, it would work much better. And that way you can make the banner a certain size. Understand? If not, and it is another problem, let me know, Ill be happy to try to help.

Like .feak said the banner is way to big.

There's already a topic here about the banner.

Also the use relative widths is much better in my opinion to using set widths, considering that a defined "800px" will leave 400+ pixels left for me on the side. I really don't see how it is too big, it's been designed with 1024x in mind, which is where the majority of desktop resolutions fall (or go above that).
