Title: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Hanyou - September 7, 2006 01:35 AM (GMT)
Ok I have this game on my 360 & it RULES! Now I want it for my PC. Does anyone have a link to DL it?
quartz_donkey - September 7, 2006 01:51 AM (GMT)
Don't think your gonna get that sort of thing here. Just go and buy it really it's your own fault for buying ythe 360 version in the first place.
Hanyou - September 7, 2006 01:56 AM (GMT)
Why is it my fault? I like it :P I didnt say it wasnt good.
BrotherEstapol - September 7, 2006 04:01 AM (GMT)
Well you're asking if we know where to download a pirated version for the PC...don't.
Robert - September 7, 2006 02:23 PM (GMT)
Just buy it dude, its worth it for the dark brotherhood questline alone.
Hanyou - September 7, 2006 04:00 PM (GMT)
I like the Thieves Guild Questline a little better but The Dark Brotherhood is quite good.
NismoR34 - September 7, 2006 04:19 PM (GMT)
Perhaps a silly question here but why the hell would you want two versions of the same game?
Oh wait, nevermind. I'm meant to be getting both versions of Zelda. Carry on. :P
Resident-Seven - September 7, 2006 04:24 PM (GMT)
And you can't even mod one of the LoZ games. :)

Perhaps he wants to run them side by side and perform trivial calculations and compare graphs for some bizarre assignment on why the PC is so much better than the Xbox360 :P
--------------------------------
Hanyou, in no way to we (and the website as a whole) affiliate with illegal distribution of games unless it's been made clear by the developers to be downloaded as freeware, which won't happen for another 50 years... Your best bet is to acquire the demo instead for a trial run, then buy it when it goes platinum or whatever for $19.95 (2 year waiting period at least)
Hanyou - September 7, 2006 05:50 PM (GMT)
No I just want more stuff. You can mod a PC game along easier & faster then a console one

g1ggy - September 12, 2006 10:28 PM (GMT)
Hmm..we didn't need to know that
Hanyou - September 13, 2006 12:49 AM (GMT)
Who cares what you think? I put it there for people who might want it not for people that dont care now flick off bugger
Jiro - September 17, 2006 03:39 AM (GMT)
mod looks good, adds alot of content it seems which is good. now if i can just get oblivion to stop crashing then maybe i can actually play it for once!
Resident-Seven - September 17, 2006 05:23 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I haven't played it in months, and I'm not going to start playing it again until the release a patch that un-fucks it.
D43M0N - September 17, 2006 08:09 AM (GMT)
I'll probably reinstall over the holidays, give it another whirl. It was fun.
Resident-Seven - September 17, 2006 01:09 PM (GMT)
Why did you uninstall it?

5GB game + only 80GB hard drive = suck.
Plus I got bored.
The Lusty Argonian - October 3, 2006 06:17 AM (GMT)
Did you back up your saves? *crosses fingers in hope that you did*
D43M0N - October 3, 2006 06:55 AM (GMT)
Yep.
Reinstalled, played about two hours; still crashes. I really need another GB of RAM.

No I mean the super meger ultra oblivion mod I posted a link to on the 1st page
Robert - November 1, 2006 06:06 AM (GMT)
He's still on about that mod? Dude its so over
Neo.Sanity - November 1, 2006 08:36 AM (GMT)
PLease...stopping plugging it already.
Oh and with the XBL Mod thing that's in beta at the moment and can have that mod on the Xbox 360 verison. Though the creator will need to convert it.
Inquisitor - December 27, 2006 02:45 PM (GMT)
YO!
Bought this game today. Unforunately, at the most in-opputune time, my CD Drive has fucked itself over. So pissed off.
Anywho, anything I need to know before I start playing (which could be ages away yet :()?
I'm excited!
Decman - December 27, 2006 05:45 PM (GMT)
A bloody good computer, snacks and ultra-caffeinated drinks and a huge amount of free time! :P
Neo.Sanity - December 28, 2006 11:55 AM (GMT)
100 hours of your life will inadvetantly be wasted in trying to finish a game which will have very little impact on your life.
Oh and get int the Mages guild early, save your grand soul gems and enchant those weapons!
Inquisitor - December 28, 2006 12:39 PM (GMT)
I don't have a very very good computer... I went to play and when it auto-detected my hardware, it put settings on low. >_>
Decman - December 28, 2006 06:47 PM (GMT)
The experience might be killed a bit then, seeing as the game relies heavily on eye-candy. Morrowind is still the better game, especially with the mods.

Damn straight Morrowind is the better game. By a long shot too.
Oblivion wins my ward for biggest dissapointment of 2006... possibly biggest dissapointment of my gaming life period.
Good game, not an amazing one and with performance issues it really shouldn't have.
When I think about Oblivion I'm left with such a damned bitter taste in my mouth it hurts.
Drake - January 2, 2007 05:53 AM (GMT)
Where the heck is that dragon? You all know what dragon I'm talking about - the one that's shown on one of the many loading screens as you move from area to area. I've sunk 150 hours into the game and haven't seen it. It's not in the official game guide either. I never ran into a golden saint, either. Did they just not make the cut?
Inquisitor - January 2, 2007 05:57 AM (GMT)
K so just traded in Oblivion this arvo cause it was heaps laggy when I tried to play it.
ElPresidente - January 2, 2007 08:01 AM (GMT)
Please people... use lingo correctly. :D
Laggy = online game, ping times between your pc and server are too high for an enjoyable game.
Stuttery, jerky, etc = low frame rate.
</anal prez>

Very anal indeed.
But anyways. Guess what? Low frame rate in COD2 as well (the game I replaced Oblivion with).
I think I might go shoot myself.
ElPresidente - January 2, 2007 08:37 AM (GMT)
I'm no counsellor but I'm sure they would agree with me in saying buying a new PC is a better solution.
Of course if you can't then suicide is an acceptable fallback plan.
j/k :P

too bad it sux0red.
Resident-Seven - January 2, 2007 10:05 AM (GMT)
Oblivion = shit optimization. Crappy framerate, shitty outdated pixel-shaders, horrid animations.
Maybe when I get a new PC for Crysis it'll play good.
