Title: Virus/Worm Software?
Description: Please help if you can.
Electronic Junky - July 15, 2006 09:03 AM (GMT)
Hello guys,
I'm looking for a good Virus protector. (FUCK Norton)
I've already quit using IE since i had reason to believe some of my viruses were coming from there.
After switching to Firefox,Things have gotten a little better,Alot better then when i used IE.So i guess this is Step 1 to having a safe/clean computer.
I've tried Norton and i'm not happy with there service,it will always detect the viruses but will never clean them.So i decided to come here and ask if anyone had any suggestions?
You guys, and my uncle are my last resort.

Lol,Your fucked up...your obviously guessing i don't know how to use norton, yet i do..BUT my computer is so fucked that there is no saving it,even if i used the "almighty" norton.
So this topic should therefore be closed, because i am now in the process of purchasing a new Computer,And will not have to worry about this once it arrives and i get it rollin.

We could keep it open for other users who might have questions about virus software.

We're open to suggestions of course, but yeah keeping this open may come in handy for someone else in the future ;)

I have the Etrust anti-virus going with the new Lavasoft firewall and Anti-spyware package. How do I know it's works? Well no virus alert sirens have gone off and everything seems to be in working order.

When getting virus protechion always more than one because one of them could get a virus it self and spread the virus!
So have like 3 virus protechers because their are 800,000 virus in the computer world!
Here's wat to get
1. AVG as the frount wall because it's free you can get it any time.
2. PC-cillin
3. Nortan virus
THESE are the best to use!

Hmm, I don't know what version you're using, but I've got Norton and it cleans up everything fine.
