The first Omikron was cancelled so nobody has played it, but yeah, french teams are really creative (Qunatic Dreams and Ubi).

I really dug Fahrenheit despite it being overhyped to be something it really wasn't. It was a very enjoyable experience nonetheless. Not aware of anythign else Quantic are working on... what's this Heavy Rain all about then?

Yeah I enjoyed Fahrenheit, a really different and enjoyable game :)

The gameplay is pretty innovative, and also quite intuitive, mostly. Graphics are by far the worst part of the game, and the story is just awesome (yes, I'm ok with the end. Not good as the rest, though). Everything else is fairly good, or at the very least enough.
Maybe this is not a technological masterpiece, but it has definitely one of the best stories and interesting gameplay on the current consoles generation.

Sorry about that, I meant the PSone version got canned, it was released on PC.
On Heavy Rain, its supposedly about a woman getting revenge on her husband, I doubt it's related to Fahrenheit.

the only thing i read about it was on gamespots first look, they said it had something to do with fahrenheit (prequel etc..)
Yeh its a shame it got cancelled on psone. it was on pc and dc

Just to hammer the point home... it most certainly wasn't cancelled.
In addition it was a bloody brilliant game (the soundtrack of which became David Bowies album The Hours) that has seen more than its fair share of appearances in the PC Powerplay Top 100 *plug* *plug*
Yes, I'm a fan of Quantic Dream. They may not make the greatest games out there but they push and strive to do new things with the format and I respect that.
Even though Fahrenheit dropped the ball something ferocious in its final acts the game remains a steadfast favourite of mine from the adventure genre.

I have only had the chance to experience Fahrenheit so I can't comment on the developer as much as I'd like to but yes, I am a huge fan of Quantic Dream. Infact I'm looking forward to any of their upcoming games because Fahrenheit really impressed me. Yeah it was flawed in parts but I didn't really get bothered by them, not even the slightly crazy ending. It was one of my favourite games of 2005 and will remain one of them for a long time, so yeah bring on any of their new projects.
