Title: [VIDEO] Red Steel Gameplay Footage

I must say from this video, the Wii remote is looking quite promising. If it plays how it looks, then this truly is a great innovation for the gaming world. I couldn't see its potential far from Mario Tennis but it looks like it could have some great applications. However what does seem apparent is that the experience you get out of your remote does seem to be contained by your gaming environment. If you have a small TV the experience may not be as overwhelming seemingly to the point where it may not be playable (aiming with the remote would become tricky, its hard enough to turn on my TV with the remote let alone shoot a room full of bad-guys), likewise if your living room is cramped.

Is that running on Wii? Looks pretty good, despite some reports that the game didn't look that good on the showfloor.

Yeah that's a nice video, it looks quite good graphically, and it looks like using the Wii controller would be a lot of fun in this FPS game, lets hope Ubisoft come out with the goods :)

Inded it does look like it could be really good. I'm not too sure about the aiming... it seemed kind of awkward in that video, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Thats just a trailer. From what I've read and seen, Red steel isn't the game we were hoping for, not yet anyway. I reckon this is going to be kind of like a shooting gallery style game, almost an evolution of light gun games. Resident Evil 4 was pretty much a shooting gallery and turned out great of course.

Yeah of course the trailer will make it look great, but hopefully Ubisoft can iron out the problems that were reported at E3.
