I'm going to trial this thread and see how it goes. Basically it works just like the Xbox Live Gamertag thread, so post what games you have, your friend codes and hopefully we can build a good list.
I'm also thinking we can use this thread to organise game nights and maybe even small tourneys? ;)

And yeah some cool matches Ali G, though why didnt anyone do voice chat :(, I tried it, not sure if it worked though, I think it did, based on your 'lol' text reaction.

I've been playing aganist the bots and I'm getting used to this now, the game does have learning curve, but the multiplayer is fun anyway, will only get better as I play more.

Oh yeah and I managed to add a rival playing aganist some random guy, we had very similar skills so I added him and he obviously thought the same. Pretty cool, to bad you cant chat with rivals though.

And did Nismo get his Lite? Havent heard from him yet.

Yeah, the voice chat was working, but I didn't hear much because the volume was turned down and my brother was being noisy.

Well, I'll probably be around from about 8:00 WST tonight, so if anyone wants a game, say so here or PM me, and we can arrange a time. It'd be awesome if more than one person came along.

8pm WST is like 11pm EST right? In which case I probably wouldnt be on then.

The cool thing about Metroid though, is that you can just check if people are online via the DS, and hopefully be able to link up a game, unlike Mario Kart which doesnt really have a 'lobby' I believe.

As for times, well I can basically play anything after 4pm, although it depends on the day. 9:30pm is good time for me usually, as that is the time that I'll jump on Live if I want online action. So yeah, if people are up for some 9:30pm action then I'll be up for it too. :)

I can see you guys online but when I try to join the game I get "Error Code 86420 You were disconnected from Nintendo Wifi Connection"

Apparently it's an error in the MPH servers that Nintendo are working on according to some forum I saw when I googled the error :(

Nah, it was good fun. King of the Hill or whatever its called was pretty good and its my favourite mode so far, while the one where you collect the crystal thing was cool too.

Yeah sorry about that guys, we got some guests just as I was preparing to join you for the multiplayer. I didn't realise we had guests though as I was in my room and didn't hear them arrive.

Stevo, I had the exact same error when I was trying to join the game, which is why I joined late, when I finally join Civ says via voice chat "about f*cking time" :lol:

I checked out the code on nintendowifi.com apparantly it said it was a firewall issue? Which didnt make sense, since I have connected before and didnt change the firewall settings. So I just kept trying till I got in, and it worked eventually.

But yeah it was great fun :D it was good that you were selecting different games Civ, since most people seem to only do battle mode, hunter mode was annoying, but yeah the "king of the hill" and crystal hunt games were great :)

Voice chat was pretty cool, it was funny to finally hear some voices behind those names, comes out decent enough on the DS speakers.

Ha, yeah, I heard that too. And your "fucking error codes" or something.

Also, Civ, you only like King Of The Hill because you win it. :P Nah, that one was pretty fun.

Haha, well Ali G and I waited for a while before your DS decided it was going to join so I voiced my opinion. :P
You'll find that when I host I like to mix things around as keeping the same mode gets boring quickly, and hopefully next time we have 4 people so we can try team-based games.
And I agree with the voice chat thing - you were nice and clear borgster as you're not shy to speak up, unlike some others.

Thats real skill my friend, unlike the I'll-kill-ya-with-my-laser-gun-the-cheap-way move. :P
The other mode I liked, but on which I failed miserably, was the one were you hold the Nodes. Similar to King of Hill but there were 3 mini areas you could hold.

Yeah, I'm not sure why some people dont use the voice chat, it's easier than typing :blink:

The only reason I wasn't using voice chat was because my brother was being loud and watching Galaxy Quest (the only reason I lost was because I was being distracted by it :P) in the same room, and I was too lazy to move.

Ha, do you mean the Shock Coil or the Imperialist. Because I'll admit I was a bit of a Shock Coil whore. :P I got in a couple of nice shots with the Imperialist though, especially on the Defender mode, when people were just standing still in the ring, letting me snipe them.

I was dodging your imperailst shots pretty well at times Ali G, and dont blame your brother as the reason :P

Yeah, but there was one lucky shot where either you or Civ walked right in front of me and I went "BOOM, HEADSHOT!" :P
