That is all

DZ - April 27, 2006 08:40 PM (GMT)
"If I told you, I'd have to kill you."

evO - April 27, 2006 10:40 PM (GMT)
Family nickname is Evo. And it's not pronounced Eeevo like a lancer or the name of the boards. If you say Evolution normally, and not Eeevolution, then it's closer to how you pronounce my name ;)

Film Guru - April 27, 2006 10:59 PM (GMT)
Mine doesn't mean much at all. When I first got the internet ages ago I needed a nickname for a chatroom. I was really into film making so the name Film Guru just popped out. Kinda stuck over the years.

Jiro - April 27, 2006 11:20 PM (GMT)
MoleMan, as in the old guy from the simpsons. i used to be locky, but thats my name ad i got a bit sick of that so i decided to go with my CS name (we had a cartoon character thing going for a while :P ).

\"you took 4 minutes of my life and i want them back, o well ill proberly just waste them anyway.\"

Moleman where abouts are you from?

Stevorooni - April 28, 2006 05:07 AM (GMT)
Well I'm Stevo over on Hyper, as my name is Steve and one time someone over there called me Stevorooni for no apparent reason, so when I signed up here that's what I used The End

Random Hero - April 28, 2006 05:44 AM (GMT)
moleman on the simpsons freaks me out a little but you dont as a poster moleman!!

BrotherEstapol - April 28, 2006 06:03 AM (GMT)
In ancient Aramaic, it means "Man of honor and land".

>_>

Yeah long story short I pretty much just thought that Estapol souned cool. :P
It's worked out pretty well though, since I've yet to go and sign up at a forum or something, and find that someone already has my name. :D

f15active - April 28, 2006 06:12 AM (GMT)
The f15active was my favourite plane in Ace Combat 4 (PS2) and so I chose it as my name when I started playing Red Alert 2 online (which came before MSN or any other form of Internet...stuff.

In reality though, the f15active is not a combat plane and was only used for testing by NASA, I didn't know this when I chose it as my nickname for RA2 though, I just liked the fuel air bombs it dropped in AC4.

I've also found that there are no other f15active's in cyberspace.

This is the F15 - ACTIVE

DZ - April 28, 2006 06:34 AM (GMT)
What a beauty! *drool*

quartz_donkey - April 28, 2006 06:47 AM (GMT)
quartz is a mesure of hardness and asses are sometimes called donkeys, so Quartz_donkey = Hard arse. I don't think of myself as a hard arse I just like obscure references. One person has got it without being told.

Oh and estapol is a cool word.

borgster101 - April 28, 2006 07:16 AM (GMT)
My surname is Borg, so basically 'borgster' developed into a nick name, and I thought it had a nice ring to it.

The 101, is there since when I wanted to make an email with borgster it was already taken, and the first suggestion was 101, and I thought yeah that goes together pretty well.

Random Hero - April 29, 2006 04:59 AM (GMT)
locky? oh was that his previous username?? i live in melbourne too! small world. :P :P

JJJames7 - April 29, 2006 06:56 AM (GMT)
My middle name is James, my initials are JJG. I intended on using the nickname 'JayJayJames2002' for some Nintendo website, because my nickname was JayJay and I thought Jono was too blunt to put in the middle. 2002 was the year.

When it became 2003 I got it changed to a 7.

Squato - April 29, 2006 09:22 AM (GMT)
Mine started as a nickname I picked up in year 2 (something with sports). I liked it, so I use it everywhere.

NismoR34 - May 2, 2006 06:20 PM (GMT)
Nissan Motorsport.

The R34 is a model of Nissan's Skyline range. The name was chosen by Civic and myself in a MSN conversation a long time ago and was chosen due to my love for all things Skyline at the time. Things are different now with my tastes and whatever (although the Skyline is still an awesome car) but the name has stuck purely because everybody knew me as Nismo. Be it at Hyper, PALGN or here.

Random Hero - May 3, 2006 03:02 AM (GMT)
does djcivic actually drive one of those?? they are a very cool car although i dont know that much about them really.....

borgster101 - May 3, 2006 03:30 AM (GMT)
Civic drives a Civic ;), (I think).

evO - May 3, 2006 04:52 AM (GMT)
I wish i drove an Evo9 :(

Random Hero - May 3, 2006 11:07 AM (GMT)
i love lancer evos so much better than wrx in my opinion.
QUOTE (borgster101 @ May 3 2006, 01:30 PM)
Civic drives a Civic ;), (I think).

no way  i suppose it makes alotta sense if he does :P

NismoR34 - May 4, 2006 05:01 PM (GMT)
It looks like I will have to be the one who (eventually) drives a Civic, considering Civ went against his name and bought an R33. <_<

;)

evO - May 4, 2006 09:02 PM (GMT)
34 > 32 > 33

:P

Damn you Civ!

Serpentine - May 8, 2006 05:50 AM (GMT)
Mine doesn't really mean anything but came about one night trying to come up with a new user name for Socom 2 online for the Sony.

After typing in about 100 different names that were already taken (some cool ones like Butcher Blood etc) that's the one that was finally accepted and has kinda stuck with me now for most forums I visit

Hyper still has GT_Racer from my love of Skylines (alas I drive a Crappadore and a Bitsashitti Magnet).

Random Hero - May 8, 2006 08:27 AM (GMT)
dont you hate that some places are impossible to come up with a name....in my opinion yahoo is the worst they must have so many dead accounts its not even funny.

Death - May 13, 2006 04:28 AM (GMT)
Mine is pretty hard to figure out...

Firstly it's because of the band Death (one of the greatest guitarists ever to live), and secondly 'cause I'm just so grim and necro Death suits me >_> .

Omni - May 14, 2006 11:11 PM (GMT)
My username Omni means "all" in Latin.

Mekaniks - May 15, 2006 10:48 PM (GMT)
I was listening to the song "Mechanics" by Megadeth :P

Stumpflower - May 19, 2006 10:05 PM (GMT)
The Stump is my last name, and the flower was an old legend uin my family that our last name used to be Stumpflower way way back, but it's probably not true. I like the name though.

Inquisitor - May 20, 2006 12:57 AM (GMT)
I got mine off some random thing I saw of an Inquisitor dude looking all hardcore and crap, so I was like, oh yeah, cool.

That was years ago, though.

Opute - May 23, 2006 10:55 PM (GMT)
Mine stands for something, but i do not remeber what, this name was given to me by a very very very good friend.

SSXSuperMan - May 25, 2006 10:57 PM (GMT)
mine stands for the SSX series

Squato - May 27, 2006 09:43 AM (GMT)
Those last two stand for spam.

Retro - May 27, 2006 12:44 PM (GMT)
Well, I guess I just think Retro is a cool word; it's pretty much one of my favorite adjectives, along with ersatz, ubiquitous, and, uh...cheesy? :D

Private Toast - June 11, 2006 04:39 AM (GMT)
