Title: BioWare and Pandemic Talk Revolution

At the recent Games Developers Conference 2006, Pandemic CEO Josh Resnick, as well as BioWare CEOs Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk made some positive comments about the Nintendo Revolution.

Resnick of Pandemic (Full Spectrum Warrior) said that the studio was "enthralled" with the Revolution, though noted that the company has not announced any software for the console yet, suggesting that the developer is certainly interested in developing Revolution games.

Bioware's (Knights of the Old Republic) Zeschuk had some further positive comments to share, he said "Well, the Revolution is a very different platform, and we've actually just seen some things behind closed doors that are just mind-blowing .... "Very, very exciting. They're doing something that's very different and unique."

It seems that Nintendo has used GDC as an opportunity to share their vision of their next generation console to 3rd party developers, whereby the majority of 3rd parties thus far have been very excited about the console.

Both these developers have not been traditional Nintendo supporters and therefore it is quite promising for Nintendo that such developers are taking notice of the console. Third party support for Nintendo's next console is looking to be better than it has been for quite some time.
