New Zelda game just announced at GDC! Has the Wind Waker look (this art style probably works best for the handhelds :) ). Supposed to be released end of the year (a dual release with Twilight Princess perhaps?)

I loved the way Wind Waker looked, just so much style, it was awsome.

I'm yet to play Minish Cap or even to buy a DS but yay none the less.

Right Click and Save ME :D

OMG, so freaking sweet that footage :)

Can't wait to play this game, hopefully they can fix the few niggly problems from Wind Waker (which I am certain they will do).

Yeah awesome footage, :D

Nintendo just won't stop untill I'm a poor beggar on the streets, won't they!?

This game is certainly looking good, and almost the main incentive to purchase a DS Lite. I'm loving the graphics!

Although why do they have the main action on the bottom screen? :(

Because the touch screen (bottom screen) is used to solve puzzles, for example you can use the stylus to direct the boomerang's direction.

What are the controls going to be like anyway?
Because after extended periods that d-pad kills your thumb bad *just finished Minish Cap*.

I'm still dancing from the excitement I had when I read about the information a few days ago. I already was confirmed on a DS Lite purchase and yet Nintendo had to go out and announce this too? It's almost as if they're talking to me now, rewarding me for my intention to get the Lite and all the brilliant games that are either out, on they're way or whatever. Now if only the local division of Nintendo would talk to me too and announce that Lite release date. ;)

But yes, this game looks spectacular already and we've seen so little. Bring on E3 now, just for this. :D

Oh, you've GOT to play Minish Cap..it's the best Zelda (if you ignore Ocarina Of Time) game, IMO

Yep minish cap rules, i recommend! Phantom Hourglass looks drool worthy too mind you :D

It seems Phantom Hourglass may be pushed back to next year, which isn't that shocking in my opinion, it was only announced this year and having a Zelda game announced and released in the same year is a rare sight indeed, I dont think it has ever happened. In addition with Twilight Princess on Wii coming at the end of the year anyway, Nintendo probably doesn't want to have two big Zelda games release at the same time.

g1ggy - July 30, 2006 10:20 PM (GMT)
Actually, I think that would work...dunno why, but it sounds right

NismoR34 - July 31, 2006 03:34 PM (GMT)
Well there is the possibility of more than one Zelda being 'released' this year anyway. We still don't know what will be available on the Wii's Virtual Console yet (at launch) so yeah, it is possible that older Zelda titles will be available on that as well as Twilight Princess getting its release.

I'm hoping that Phantom Hourglass is going to be a fine addition to the DS's already astounding line-up. I am going to be happy with both Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass at the end of the year.

borgster101 - August 21, 2006 01:00 AM (GMT)
Be warned Phantom Hourglass may be pushed back into 2007, though as long as the Wii/TP release in Australia this year I wont be too bothered about it.

Though I see you're from the US, so you'll be fine in getting the Wii this year.

Teh Yeshua - August 21, 2006 09:33 PM (GMT)
Yep. I get to play with my Wii at the end of the year. :D
