Microsoft will be hosting a launch party for the debut of its Xbox 360 console Wednesday night (22nd of March), where the console will officially launch in Australia early Thursday morning (i.e. midnight).

The launch party will be held at the Pitt Street Mall in Sydney, everyone who purchases an Xbox 360 console from the Pitt Street EB will receive a free Xbox 360 game (which game specifically is unknown).

Higlights of the event will include street performances, free food, kiosks to trial the console and of course a free game for every console purchase.


Xbox 360 launches nation wide on March 23 2006.
