A mate gave me upto episode 13 so I have seen up to that cant wait to see the rest :woot:
NismoR34 - March 10, 2006 05:44 PM (GMT)
If you spoil it then I will bestow death upon thee.
The show is definitely one of the most addictive I have ever seen. Infact I seriously wouldn't be able to explain why I love this show so much, it just has it really.
Cubeoid - March 11, 2006 01:38 AM (GMT)
I love Prison Break and yeah don't spoil it as it's a show I'd rather watch weekly than download all the episodes or something.
A lot of people have criticised it for being too unrealistic and unbelievable but that's what makes the show so damn entertaining.
Lynx - March 11, 2006 02:51 AM (GMT)
I'm a huge fan. Sure, it's unrealistic, but bringing cold-hard logic to this show would destroy what makes it so fine.
thebigm - March 11, 2006 12:50 PM (GMT)
This would have to be one of my favourite shows ever, contending with the first 2 seasons of Alias for me. Yep that's right I think it's better than 24 and House (although just), Alias Season 3 / 4, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Smallville and any other show from Hollywood* that I've seen in the last 6 years or so.
* I disclude Japanese shows from this seeing as how I see a few as equal in overall entertainment values but is difficult to compare.
Mykle - March 11, 2006 11:11 PM (GMT)
Sometimes it's frustrating how Schofield gets out of every single problem thrown his way, so I quite enjoyed the riot episode where it all went wrong. Looking forward to season 2! March 20.
~DC - March 12, 2006 04:02 AM (GMT)
Were there only thirteen episodes to Season One Mykle?
_MetalliX_ - March 12, 2006 04:37 AM (GMT)
Fox ordered the first 13 episodes as a kind of trial-period however due to its enormous success Fox has ordered a full season - 24 episodes. Expect to see them hit America 20th March.
Toby - March 12, 2006 10:55 AM (GMT)
Dont worry I will not spoil it for you all

I was the same I watched the season in 2 nights :dance3:
I cant wait for the 20th :D
Squato - March 12, 2006 11:18 AM (GMT)
Yep, this is a great show. I started to get into it after the supp;ort it was given on Hyper.
Mykle - March 12, 2006 02:34 PM (GMT)
I dont think 24 episodes is good news, because I can see this show getting very Lost-y (i.e. filler episodes for $$$). I liked it better when it was fighting for it's life. :P
NismoR34 - March 12, 2006 04:49 PM (GMT)
I think the filler episodes and 'proper' episodes will be quite nicely balanced personally. Imek, I can see what you mean. This is definitely the most addictive show since Lost as far as I'm concerned and I would have to say that I look forward to Prison Break moreso than Lost at the moment. Lost is still as kick arse as ever but yeah, I'm more into Prison Break at the moment.
Only a few days till the next episode, bring it on. :D

God, Lost became slower than a soap opera after three episodes. :P
The fast-pace show can be done over twenty-four episodes, 24 has proven that. Obviously, it's going to be harder to figure out a way to keep the show moving with this kind of storyline though.
Squato - March 13, 2006 07:54 PM (GMT)
Seven isn't going to show it because of the Commonwealth games for the next two weeks.
~DC - March 13, 2006 11:18 PM (GMT)
Which is stupid considering Nine are hosting the Games.

That's the reason I don't watch Lost. There's too much where nothing happens.
*SPOILERS*
I wanna see how episode 14 runs, seeing as episode 13 should've been the start of the end. Also, obviously Lincoln gets his trial re-opened, but I can't see how PI can just hide that huge hole in the ground. And with Abruzzi out of the picture for a while, will Bellick still let the boys run PI or give it to someone else? T-Bag is a fucking awesome character, and brilliantly acted, but I can definately see him being replacd by Abruzzi when he comes back from the hospital, and T-Bag being pushed out of the picture, or at least the break-out, seeing as only seven can make it and he's the obvious weak link.
I'm gonna spew if this turns into another Lost...
EDIT: Changed font colour, because this is one show that shouldn't be spoilt, and I thought just having spoiler warning wasn't enough. Don't read this post unless you are up to episode thirteen.

They probably think no one is going to watch normal TV shows because everyone is going to watch the games on Nine anyway

Which is normally the case when there is a major sporting event. Just be thankful they didn't do it for the winter Olympics also.
~DC - March 14, 2006 11:24 AM (GMT)
It's better to do what Channel Ten are doing though; fight fire with fire. They haven't cancelled their normal programming and suddenly given up on ratings just because of the Games like Seven have obviously done.
NismoR34 - March 15, 2006 05:35 PM (GMT)
Yeah but typically most people watch Prime on Wednesday and Thursday nights because of the two big shows. Eh, Las Vegas and Smallville are still on this week so I can settle for that. Still pissed with Prime though for thinking everyone will want to watch the games. What a load of shit.
I spent my Prison Break hour playing Paper Mario, what did you lot do? ;)
Cubeoid - March 17, 2006 11:26 AM (GMT)
I worked my Prison Break hour:P
Still, it's annoying that it was put off for the weird and incredibly crappy opening ceromony. I didn't see much of it but...er...yeah...a bunch of koalas and some random with a skateboard doesn't sound too interresting.
_MetalliX_ - March 17, 2006 01:20 PM (GMT)
Actually it wasn't a random with a skateboard, if you check the Commonwealth Games thread...
~DC - March 17, 2006 01:25 PM (GMT)
I watched episode ten that I had downloaded during the day. :P

If Channel 7 can go straight from Season 1 to Season 2 consecutively, my faith in them will have actually been restored. Potential of this happening?

It wont. They have eleven episodes of Blue Heelers they have to burn off first.
~DC - March 18, 2006 06:07 AM (GMT)
Like [m]av said, I can't see it happening.
They still haven't even brought back 24, which is already now over the half-way mark in the US...
Squato - March 19, 2006 08:35 AM (GMT)
Well it is coming back this week. But they are making it look like they did it so people will think they are having a break to work out what is happening.
_MetalliX_ - March 19, 2006 08:39 AM (GMT)
Prison Break Episode 14 was leaked onto the internet 3 days before it was scheduled to air in the US.
This bootleg copy contains a "For Reviewing Pupurposes Only. Property of FOX" watermark across it.
Squato - March 19, 2006 08:49 AM (GMT)
Either that was a dumb mistake, or that was Fox using Viral Marketing.
locky - March 29, 2006 06:20 AM (GMT)

If you read a few posts above you would have seen that Prison Break wasn't on during the Commonwealth games (although I think it was on last wednesday).
And yes, it's on tonight. Should be interesting what's going on, I've sorta forgotten what's happened so far because of time constraints, but I am sure I will get back into it once I see the episode.
locky - March 29, 2006 08:20 AM (GMT)
woops should learn to read :whistling:
only one hour and 10 mins left! woot!
NismoR34 - March 29, 2006 05:03 PM (GMT)
This show still owns me. Best show on at the moment, easily.
locky - March 30, 2006 09:01 AM (GMT)
i think i must have missed an episode some how?!?!
i missed hte bit about that kids mum being killed and the pedo guy freaking out that skinny kid. hmm someone had to of taped it!
NismoR34 - March 30, 2006 04:31 PM (GMT)
The episode that you refer to is the one that aired on the 22nd of this month.
Jiro - March 31, 2006 05:42 AM (GMT)
damn, o well someone will have a copy i can borrow.
i was under the impression that it was not on over the holidays.
Squato - March 31, 2006 09:00 AM (GMT)
It's up to Seven, but I haven't heard if they are going to pull it.
_MetalliX_ - April 6, 2006 11:01 AM (GMT)
Ah! They broke Prison Break! :nooo:
They have turned the show into a similar style as Lost, where you see flashbacks of the characters, however it has been done quite haphazardly and portrays some characters in an unwanted light.
[m]averick - April 6, 2006 11:06 AM (GMT)
It's about the only way they're gonna stretch it into three series...
