I stopped regularly posting here about a month ago, and one of the main reasons for this was that the forum's too buggy. The biggest bug is when you scroll down and the page stretches.

Are mods/admin aware of this? Is it because of the shoutbox? 56K?

Yeah, I noticed that too, but I think it's only a loading problem? The streched part of the page hasn't loaded yet so there's not anything to actually display. So I'm guessing that it's pretty much a 56k problem (because of the longer loading times it's more obvious) and it should go away as the page loads.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah I had that problem when I was downloading stuff while viewing the forum(I'm on ADSL)...so it's not just you.
The shoutbox is under review at the moment, so it may be gone soon...

What were the other bugs?

Yeah it has to do with 56K, the same thing happened to me when I was on 56K, but having just recently got ADSL the problem is gone, because the forum loads much quicker.

The shotbox is basically a spam fest anyway, I don't know whether we really need it..

The shoutbox would probably be ok just on the frontpage if that is possible. It's kinda overkill having it on every page.

I'm not sure if that's possible, though it would be a good happy medium if we did that.

I don't even know why the Shoutbox was even considered in the first place but anyway.

I've also had the bugs occur with me (dialup is the death) but I just assumed it was because of slow loading and left it be until it fixed itself again. Although now that I think about it, it was never this bad.
The speed of the forum seems to be a lot slower these days than what it was in the first 8 months or so that this forum was around for. I guess that is because of how many threads/posts there are now?
