I think I just saw a Jay-Z/LP/McCartney: Encore/Numb/Yesterday mash up... but I can't be sure.

Crazy.

There are always going to be people who find Beatles songs so "sacred" that nobody should experiment with them, change them up, even faithfully cover them...I don't subscribe to that way of thinking, they're just songs (great songs, mind you) and I think it's interesting to see people reinterpret them in their own styles. Sometimes they suck, but sometimes they're awesome. This was somewhere in between for me.

How the hell did U2 win album of the year? Sure, it's U2, but there was pretty much nothing said about it when it was released. It got average reviews and that was it.

Also, it's stupid that Arcade Fire didn't win alternative album of the year.

Sweet Dreams vs Without Me is the best mash-up I've ever heard.

Queens of The Stone Age and Nine Inch Nails lost to System of a Down? We have a weiner!

Never been of a fan of the awards, and have only tuned in whenever a band I like was playing. This year, I turned on to see Madonna, only to switch the TV in sheer horror. Although I give her credit for staying on top as long as she has, I am not a fan of her new look.
