Title: Activision's Most Wanted
Hello - November 23, 2005 03:38 AM (GMT)
This is a bloody good idea, and should've been put into action 1 year ago. You get the following new release Activision games for $49.99 (Cube only) -
Tony Hawks Wasteland
Call of Duty 2
Gun
True Crime
Whilst they're not amazing games, and are apparently very short, the price tag alone is making me think of getting a couple. I'll get Gun first, and then go from there. It's kinda strange that it's happened now, when the Cube is pretty much dead.
Anybody else interested?

I was thinking of buying a GCN now that its dropped so low its practically free. :P I just want to get one to play Mario Sunshine, Zelda games and any other classic games I've never experienced due to being blinded by my fanboyness. :)
From that list btw, I'd only be interested in one, and that's Gun.

Ah fuck, THAW for $50, I should have got it on GCN... Plus True Crime is looking half decent too.

I believe if you spend over $100 on games in the "Most Wanted" range you get $20 off the total purchase price, it was advertised at GameRush not sure if it's at every store. So with GCN games you'd need to buy at least two games, or even three if the games are say $44.

COD2:BRO looks ok, but I'm not buying the Cube version...
Plus I just got the PROPER COD2 on PC. :P

I just can't believe the amount of gaming advertisements (mostly from Activision) that have been airing at the moment. Canberra hardly ever gets advertisements, and yet there have been heaps over the past few days.
COD 2 looks pretty good.

Civ, while the cube version of COD2 isn't the 'true' version at least it sells for a reasonable price for what you get.
BrotherEstapol - November 24, 2005 08:17 AM (GMT)
But it's a completly different game.
Different developer, different levels, different everything.

I snapped the DVD edition of COD2 PC for $45. Beat that. ;)
BrotherEstapol - November 25, 2005 10:57 AM (GMT)
Whoa! Nice going! :o
How'd you pull that one off?
DJ-Civic - November 25, 2005 01:58 PM (GMT)
Friends at work.... and a Myer voucher. :D
borgster101 - November 26, 2005 03:27 AM (GMT)
So you could have got the GCN version for say $20, although I dont think Myer sells GCN games anymore.
But yeah, that is an awesome buy Civ  .
