Well, here we have it. Evolution's first online comic :)

Each week, different members will be chosen to be as a special guest in the comic. I'll assume that Gilder will still help me out with the character designs whilst Speed Fighter will be behind the scenes, writing the script. If neither can come up with anything, feel free to send in your own ideas via private message. Try not to be too harsh on particular forum members. A limit of 6 frames if possible. On occasional times I will do the art & script by myself.

Comics will be released weekly (well, I'll try). On every Sunday

Anyway, enjoy yourselves with today's issue 1 comic! :D

Originally, Gilder and Spped Fighter were going to do the Hyper version but I didn't get around to starting it

And everyone was mocking my Status Thread, all I can say is OH THE IRONY!! (Note: I have no clue what the true meaning of Irony is, I just like using it in sentences)

I was trying to organise a similar thing for Hyperactive way back, but school work bogged me down too much. I draw and write comics. If you want help with writing a few, I'll be glad to lend my services. That's gold! :D

I guess we could always have an Evolution Comics Archive. A pinned and locked thread in Off Topic that is edited to hold all of the past comics. That way the discussion could be held to one thread with the new comic and a special thread of old comics could be kept for humour.

But probably a good idea to wait it out and make sure this becomes a usual thing because we tried this at Hyper and about 5 comics were produced before people got bored.

I really wouldn't be surprised if several members revealed their true feelings about Pres now that we aren't under his rule. I know a few of the mods don't think too highly of him, but some of the members sounded particulary fake when it came to 'complimenting' Pres.

Ah well.

heh, not bad, props to all of you, but I'd also like to give props to Chris^3 for being the first that i know of to have a web comic based on the hyperactive community, I think he deserves to be noted.

Just to clarify one thing - DJ Civic is laughing at BrotherEstapol, not El Pres! Sorry it was a little unclear, but I thought with Civic pointing at the monitor and then seeing a screenshot of the forums below, people would've picked up that he was laughing at the status changed. Don't forget that both the 2 frames are seperate from eachother so in no way are they related. This issue was addressed when DJ Civic pmed me

Gregg, I'd be glad to help out on the archive upload bandwith with my own server to handle the images. A locked topic would be best with a seperate one for discussion purposes. I'll just edit my title whenever the next one gets put up and pm one of the admins to change the title on the archive too.

Anyway, best of all - I've already got another idea for Evolutions - Issue 2. With some luck, it should be finished by Thursday but I won't let any of you see it until next Sunday! Mwahaha!
