Title: AFL Premiership 2005
Description: ...Or IS it?

I've seen that Nutri Grain add with the bit of Nutri Grain has the four PSX symbols in it, and later they show that you can win a new AFL game, AFL Premiership 2005. However, there's no such game on IGN, and I'm beginning to wonder what is happening with it.

I've been anticipating the game since I heard it was getting a developer switch sometime last year, and AFL games are the few games I play often these days.

Also cool is the idea of putting your own face on a player, as I read in the herald sun. This probably means there is create-a-player mode. :)

EDIT: Did a google, and it does exist. :P

Things I want to see:

Being able to save a team to use throughout the whole season, and not having to make it again every round in AFL Live Premiership Edition (CHAD CORNES IS NOT FULL FORWARD DAMNIT).

Actual Stadium names ("Melbourne Football Ground"...)

Better marking functions

I was playing AFL Live 2004 today and as much I keep playing the game, it is a horrible recreation of AFL and does our fine game no justice. The game has no flow to it - it is slow, jerky, and stop/start/stop/start in the way you play. Handballing is a joke, it nevers goes to where you want it to go. The snap is a good idea and works pretty well, but the lack of any A.I means you kick it out on the full a lot. Marking is pretty bad aswell. Another problem is the A.I of your teammates - they're about as useful as a cock flavoured lollipop and if anything, they hinder, rather then help, you. There are many other problems with the game and they should just stop trying to make the game electronic.

Think I wouldn't know that? :P I was referring to the fact that in the old games they call it the 'Melbourne Football Ground'. Same with Adelaide.

I'll pay 100 bucks for different coloured shoes. I'm not too phased about the cumbersome "specky" design, nor the fact that our unique game doesn't translate well into a videogame as long as my team can look hot in white shoes.

Well the games coming out August 25, so i'll be picking it up soon after. No matter how bad it is, I just cant seem to put down Premierhip Edition 2004.

Hmm, looks like not many people are into the game, but I am! It's official release is now Thursday, September 22, but like with NFS U2, it may be released a day early, so i'll head to EB then and see if they have it (and if they do, i'll go to Berlin Wall and get them to give me a copy, stupid EB, telling me to preorder everything because they say it will sell out but NEVER does, morons, putting me on the spot, I had to tell them I had no money when I had a hundred bucks. :P)

Anyway, should be SWEET.
