EA has ditched the 'The Urbz'-concept and is bringing The Sims 2 to all the consoles, including the Nintendo DS and Nintendo GameCube. Apart from the 3D graphics and other Nintendo DS-specific features (microphone-usage, touchscreen control, real-time clock), EA is also looking into the possibilities of adapting Nintendo's upcoming wi-fi network to connect players all over the world. Expect more on this title in the near future. Until then, enjoy these screens!

I can't help it. I find all these games look hideous.

I think they need to stick to very stylised 3D like in Project Rub or crystal clear 2D. All other 3D modes just don't seem to cut it visually.

I think you need to see what it looks like on an actual DS before passing judgement.

The game does show promise though, The Sims would work great on the DS as the stylus is just as good as a mouse for a game like this, forget Urbz, this is the one to watch out for.

Forget any version of The Sims where I can't create my own textures, models, etc.

Dude, it's a handheld version, you seem to be expecting too much! :P

Though it could be possible to upload your own content via WiFi, so having your own textures and models isn't totally out of the question.
