Title: Yoshi Touch & Go

I acquired this game last week, and this game is thus far my favourite Nintendo DS title. It's the first title to truly impress me since the system's launch.
While, disappointingly, the game is merely a high-score game, it's enjoyable enough to forgive its shortcomings.
Marathon Mode and Challenge Mode are where this game shines, both feature randomly generated levels that go on as long as you can last and Challenge mode gets rather devilish as you try to get the highest score in Yds while a timer is counting down, you add seconds to the clock by taking out enemies and getting coins. It becomes rather frantic as you try to manage your egg-count, keep the timer from dropping too low, draw clouds to bridge gaps and take out or avoid enemies.
Conversely, the falling segments (at the start of every mode) are more frustrating and simplistic than anything else, yet thankfully once baby mario reaches the ground it's Yoshi goodness from then on.
With the great stylus controls and genuinely fun gameplay YT&G is definitely a DS must have (and in my opinion, the first), go buy it!
YT&G helps predict good things for the similar title, Kirby Canvas Curse, that'll be hitting us around September. :D

Yeah I got this, and it's fun and addictive, the only downfall is that it is essentially a high score game like you said, but it has that certain charm to it that still makes it a worthwhile purchase, it's a great game for anyone to get into and there is always room for improvement, it's indeed of those "just one more try games" :D
Ideal sort of game for handheld gaming as well, perfect for public transport, long car trips or boring uni lectures :D .

WHAT?
At the moment, the one single video game that could possibly attract my attention would be a Fire Emblem game... I gotta check this out!

Imported at the neat price of $50. :D
it's awesome if you liked the original the tiniest bit and just doesn't slap a new story on an old engine.
Anyways, on topic, i picked up Touch & Go today, simple yet amazingly fun. my fave DS game so far.

Very addictive but gets boring over time great to have challenges with your friend in multiplayer and to try to get the highscore!

You might not like this game at first, but once you play enough you will. Very addictive platformer.
